#28 Posted: 8/5/2011 9:07:38 AM I realized that there is no way to be consistently profitable in roulette. The croupier at every casino keeps reassuring that this is a game of "chance".
However, knowing all your odds and payouts can be to your advantage. I usually like to play maybe 15-20 straight number bets (1$ each) and then add in a street, corner bet, (3,4$) here and there so even if single #'s dont hit, hopefully i catch a corner or a street bet and this keeps my losses at a min. The house usually catches up to me when a zero hits, and there go all my chips. This strategy is probably more profitable at larger bets, so I will try that tonight.
I hate the outside. I dont think I've ever won a big bet on the outside I hate when its black 7 times in a row, then I go for the 8th black, and it ends up a red.! I rather play my 1-18 19-36..
