#1 Posted: 10/9/2012 6:46:05 PM I would recommend to NOT blindly follow anyone and if this is how your used to betting then stop it. Do your own research and make decisions and if you want to make money you should be passionate about the sport and enjoy watching it and dissecting.
If you are relatively familiar with the game and want an edge you should google "team name news" then click see more and search for info given over the last 24 hours to 2 days. By gathering info from local reporters and beat writers you will have an edge on the general public. You can ascertain how badly coaches/players want to win, who's playing for how many minutes and what teams are trying to accomplish in the early going. Are they focusing more on defensive schemes and figuring out who will make the roster? Examples of this are the lakers and grizzlies: the lakers are playing their scrubs the entire 2nd half while the grizz in the first game put the starters back in at the end to close out the game.
Game 1: Memphis vs Bulls The line moved a point after it was announced that Noah would be starting.
The bulls added 6 new players and they will all get minutes. We should expect the Bulls to play their starters only at the beginning of the game then start subbing, according to Thibodeau: "Following the shootaround, Thibodeau said he anticipates the Bulls’ starters playing an eight-minute stretch before bringing in the reserves; the coach said he’ll probably play 10 or 11 players in all."
Memphis’ lineup will materialize with essentially the same starting five as appeared throughout the season. Chicago’s, on the other hand, will feature a much different corps than what the Grizzlies saw last time around. Headline star Derrick Rose will obviously be missing in action. Additionally, guards C.J. Watson and Ronnie Brewer are no longer with the Bulls. Instead, Hamilton and Kirk Hinrich will fill the starting backcourt. - Memphis played their starters a lot of minutes against real madrid. Will this continue? Maybe, but they will probably play the backups more and I don't expect the starters to come back in late but who knows. The edge at this point I think goes to the Grizz on both the starters and backups as this group has been together and are good players (conley/speights/bayless/selby/allen/pondexter)
Conclusion: seems like Memphis may play starters more minutes and are looking to practice their new offensive style a little more. Whereas bulls have more new faces they want to get acclimated and aren't used to playing with each other. Edge: Memphis. Will take the Grizz for 1 unit
