I need some advice guys.  I feel that there are a few teams that can compete Miami for the Eastern conference title.  Players are resting up and they have the momentum, swagger, and experience.

I know this is a lot of juice -500, but if they have no competitors, then this should be an okay bet.

any advice?

What percent chance do you think MIA has a chance of winning the ECF?  If the answer is above 83% than go for it.

I saw NYK at 8-1 yesterday for the EC title. That is a great bet! Pacers lost their star for season, Bulls, no Rose, Hawks, lol no, Celtics, no Rondo, etc... I think it's Miami or New York's to win, the other teams "having a chance" adds value to both those teams, mainly the Knicks.

Whoops forgot Brooklyn. They are sub .500 against teams with winning records, so no.

I just typed in a random online sportsbook (sportbet.com) and saw Knicks at +975, or 9.75-1. Wow. I live right next to one of the Station casinos in Nevada, so I'm going to inquire on their futures for this, and if I can parlay the Knicks future with a WC champion future... Anyone know of this offhand?

just know the risk you take with futures bets,as unlikely as it is if lebron breaks an arm ya can kiss ya money good-bye plus it is tied up foe weeks on end also........but from a basketball standpoint if healthy no one in the east can touch miami over 7 games....they simply hav a higher ceiling than anyone else if they are anywere even near full capacity.plus lebron is showing a new dimension in being ruthlessly competitive in the pursuit of winning as he knows its the only thing he can do 2 grow his legacy(as a player theres nothing personally that he can accomplish anymore).dude will b like a robot built for winning come playoff time.

but yea i wud say just stay away from futures bets period, specially at those horrendous odds..wat say wade falls over at some point (not unlikely at all) and ya got knicks in the conference finals, who knows wat could happen?.still like the heat but ya never know

Would I bet money on the Heat winning the East? Yes.

Would I bet money on the Heat winning the East at -500? No.

Terrible value here.
