SF invests their money in the pitching. Pitching wins championships. TEAMS win championships.

#39 Posted: 10/26/2012 2:33:02 AM QUOTE Originally Posted by EastOakland: Before the series started, I was going to take Giants game 1 with Zito on the mound and then take Fister in Game 2, but after watching the Giants dog walk to Tigers I have a feeling they will be able to put enough runs on the board to seal the victory tonight. The thing about the Giants is their hitters have been taught to fight through at bats and stay patient when they are behind. They also do not chase pitches out of the zone when there are runners on base. Not only do their 1-8 hitters get on base, their pitchers can hit too. Their defense is far better than the Detroit Tigers and that will play a factor the entire series especially in AT&T. Its so loud that it is much easier for a player on defense to get confused, I've seen it so many times in this ballpark in key moments. I do think Fister is respectable, but at the at the same time, how long will he last before the Tigers horrible bulpen gets released onto the field. Giants will get his pitch count up fast, which leads me to believe that he wont last longer than 6 innings even on a good night. That will be a problem for the Tigers because they are struggling to put up runs. I have absolutely no faith in anyone in their bulpen and I dont think they will be able to handle the heat when they do come in. Bumgarner has pitched terrible in his last two post season starts, but he is still a very good pitcher. He will be able to redeem himself infront of the home crowd tonight. In his lone start against the Tigers in 2011 he struck out nine and gave up one run over 7 1/3 innings. He also pitched a gem, going 8 strong last year in the World Series, so he knows how to perform when the pressure is on. Fister on the other hand has never been in this situation and the only thing going in his favor is that the Giants have never seen him and he has pitched Scutaro well in the past. But if he wants to throw strikes to Marco, he will be punished badly. Giants line up is dangerous and they want to win this game just as bad as the Tigers do. They do not want to go to Detroit tied at 1 the way the Tigers have played at home. It will be a much closer game then last night and I believe the score will be around 4-2 Giants.

Everyone is telling me about this documentary, but I have never seen it...what channel is it on?
Anyways, that place is worse than level 1 or 2 prison. It's a real garbage hole no matter how you look at it. People died from staff infection because the showers are so dirty they have bugs crawling on the walls. Sometimes during laundry they will say no socks no boxers. So if you dont have money on your books, you have to wear the same socks and boxers two days in a row. Well then you have to wash your garbage, but they dont allow you to make hang lines in your room or hang it outside and took away laundry detergent from the commesary list. Anyways, a garbage hole like that should teach people that crime is not the right path to go down...but most convicts are fucked up in the head. They think they are gangsters, but on the inside they are weak, depressed, drug induced children with guns. If you break the law you lose your freedom and should expect the worse is what Santa Rita preaches. |

ESPN and MLB network need to hire me because those idiots say after the game what I have said before the game. Every pick they make is wrong and everything they analyze is after everything is done. Im bouta start doin my own podcast, darn those idiots they know nothing I wonder how they even got the job. How can you pick the lowly Tigers two games in a row...? |
