#76 Posted: 10/9/2012 6:39:29 PM OU is 43 but no 1H total yet. Both teams have been on under streaks and I see MU putting forth more of an defensive effort in this one. Agree completely that the coaching advantage is huge for Bama and that MU could possibly get shut out. Under 43 1u for me. |

#78 Posted: 10/9/2012 7:14:40 PM I sure would've loved to get some of that -17, 21.5 just seems like the value is gone. I know you think your boys get crushed but I just have a hard time laying heavy chalk like that. Good luck bud!! |

Dont fear that line bense. I might have been tempted to take that as the halftime line.

#80 Posted: 10/9/2012 7:38:37 PM funny how people be like "21.5 has no value on the road but MU wont score so I will play the under 41." so you dont think Bama can cover 21.5 but you conceed to the fact MU probably wont score? so youll take a chance with 38-7 to kill the under? ciz thats whats gonna happen. i like the over and Bama covering idgaf if its a road game. bama is different. 21.5 isnt a lot against a team who wont score so I dont get it |

The line is what it is as the saying goes and to start questioning the reasoning behind a supposed low line only creates apprehension. The botton line is if you like Bama at -17, then jump on it and let the chips fall where they may because in the words of another saying "you snooze, you lose'! Bol. |

#82 Posted: 10/9/2012 9:24:16 PM Yeah I think many believe this could be a FLST/NCST Gm. Not a chance. Ive watched Mizzu past few years.. now with the inj...they get rolled. Im thinking this teaser hard. Bama-11/FLSt-14 / WV +6.5. Maybe, Bama -14/FSU -17 |

#85 Posted: 10/9/2012 10:55:27 PM congrats on getting -17 for Bama...I got it at -21...its so early in the week, I figure it must be sharp money righting the line...i think the public will push it up to 23-24 by game time...
I also like the Florida pick...
In addition my other two picks for the week are Ok St -23 over Kansas and Ohio St. -16.5 over Indiana...

#87 Posted: 10/9/2012 11:13:19 PM This don't feel right for me, opened at 17. seems like one of those trap games. Of course bam a will roll these guys up, and the gambling world is on it. You look at every angle its a no brainer even for a retard. Like train said, he would take at minus 30. Ilike the teaser also. tease down. just feels trappy to me. any opinions? |

Should be a an unwatchable game. BYU gets the nod from me. They are used to playing with eithe rqb, but the Beavs are unfamiliar with this role.
Would like the under, but at 37/38 thats a very tough bet. Hell, tied at 6 going into ot could push it over.....

Man, 43 is a tough number. Was kinda hoping for 48. Oddmakers like Bama to win 30-13 originally, but now its 32-11. Still like the Mizzou TT under at anything above 10. I might place an under 10 1st downs bet if available.
Scares me because I predicted a 41-0 or 41-3 Bama win. I think Bama will score 40+ themselves and Mizzou might score once. Might. 54-0 is my next guess.

I think I know my team better than the linesmakers. Now, that doesnt mean they are wrong, obviously they do this for a living. However, this line, at a minimum, should have opened where it is now, -21.5 . I would have set it at -28.5 and still been unable to bet Mizzou. In all honesty, I would need 37 or more points to back Mizzou this weekend, and even then I may not be able to pull the trigger. Thats how bad I think the Tigers get beat in the trenches.
Saban has been winning big games for so long its no big deal. Just another saturday afternoon. His team doesnt commit dumb penalties and/or shoot themselves in the foot. I expect 3+ Mizzou turnovers and lots of 3 and outs......

Thank you sir in advance. I am sorry as I read through I know how it came across and that wasnt directed at you. Anytime you get a line ato move 4 points your way after you play it you did well. I was just talking about a lot of other people that say "Oh yeah Alabama and so and so are easy" |
