Sportsbook.com is a great indicator of public money and they are BURIED on the Warriors.
Want to comment on this betting percentages u guys looking at, its overall public betting tickets not the amount of money that is being wagered on that team...........u could have 80% of betting tickets total lets say 5,000.00 and 20% tickets total 10,000.00 where do u think the money is at . The money is what the books think about not the amount of tickets.
Like the man says, big money is on nets, public money on GS. More $$$ in total is going on nets! Sucker move. Got to watch those linemakers, they get smarter every day!!

Im sorry I missed the end of this conversation. But to those who think that the 42 or so posts in the NBA forum of covers.com for a certain team equate to the public - you are out of your mind. Obviously, a "public" betting forum is the public - thanks for pointing out the obvious. That wasnt my point.
My point is that just because you go into the NBA forum, and UNC forever, King Happy, Happy Kane, etc are all on the Nets for a certain day - doesn't mean the "public" is on the Nets. This was directed towards Mr Bator's comments above in regards to the 19 posts he read about the game in question. I can guarantee that he did not read every thread in the NBA forum. He carefully selected those who he respects, or at least knows has a good track record. These guys are generally smarter than your average bettor - or the "public."
While I may not have made this point clear, I dont need to be told that covers.com is the public. When Big Niner so cleverly pointed out that I must be the sucker in the room - he also hit on "sure there are some great cappers on this site." Those are the one's that you are reading, and Bator is reading, to ultimately come up with his perception of who the forum is on. And not every tom dick and harry.
