#3 Posted: 10/2/2012 7:07:04 PM Self-explanatory. Which is the whole problem. I'm not going to make an behind out of myself trying to convince you that Jacksonville is better than Chicago, because they're not. But I do know that the Jaguars have not thrown in the towel, given up on the season, or are ready to implode (like the Jets). They're saying the right things, supporting each other and the coaches are still in control (unlike the Jets). This won't be as easy as you think. The Bears are hardly an elite and teams coming off a Monday night win are often fade worthy next week. The Jaguar players have some semblance of pride too and this is a real gut check game for them. They won't lose due to lack of effort or focus. I can't say the same for the Bears. |

#5 Posted: 10/2/2012 11:58:01 PM I agree on it being a no-brainer play.
On the Jags, that is.

#6 Posted: 10/2/2012 11:59:52 PM I'm a Bears fan, but be careful..The NFL, more than any other sport, is not what is seems to be on a weekly basis..Best of luck though!

#7 Posted: 10/3/2012 12:13:18 AM BOL but agree with Jakelake post, "on any given sunday" and Bears are inconsistent from week to week. Would not shock me if JAGS win or Bears win by a FG.

#8 Posted: 10/3/2012 12:52:32 AM Short week, back to back roadies off a big MNF win? I think the Jags are the bet. Chicago had the benefit of two Pick 6's by Romo. Take those two away and even with 3 other INTs, bears only won by 10 (discounting the garbage TD by Dallas). With MJD, I don't think they will have to worry about those INTs so much. I'd take the points.
Good luck either way. |

#13 Posted: 10/3/2012 11:37:00 AM No doubt da bears are the better team here. Two problems short week for da bears and second road game in a row following the short week. I have a feeling the ATS record for such is not good. I still dont think the jags win this game but at 5.5 its scary. maybe tease to 0 I know its hard not to bet against the jags |

#15 Posted: 10/3/2012 5:08:46 PM o everybody told me the same thing last week when cincy came to j ville. that ended up being my largest play and win of the season so far. i dont need or want to take shots because i love my roll but it just kind of happened. anyway yes it is a short week and yes the bears are not an elite team but they are an eli8te defense and thats why im making this play. the bears defense is going to own this sorry jags squad. |

I seen that thread. Was looking for it again in the hopes that you gave that texas guy garbage for calling your play out. Should have contacted him to place a bet! Staying away from this game so good luck to your Jags! |

#17 Posted: 10/3/2012 10:52:51 PM Bears is the play here Mr Starks I agree. Jacksonville just plain doesnt have a productive offense. MJD is a beast but who the darn else will produce offensively consistently?? If you cant score you cant win. Only way Ville covers is if Jay throws numerous picks to take points off the board. Dont see that happening this week. I think the Bears start a nice little run here having beat the Boys, the should run thru the Jags, then they have a HORRIBLE Detroit squad at home and then Carolina at home. This is the perfect time in the year for them to establish them as a real threat and a possible Super Bowl contender. Love the play BOL |

#21 Posted: 10/6/2012 2:31:12 AM MJD keeps them in the game. the reason why dallas was/is so bad lack of running game (30 yards mnf). bears b2b roadie + short week. jax and points is a no brainer. if it doesnt hit you cant blame yourself for taking them.

#22 Posted: 10/6/2012 11:24:27 AM just like mjd kept them in the game vs cincy w/ no defense? guess the short week will handle that |
