#81 Posted: 4/2/2012 2:27:51 PM Thanks for the support guys!
I've finished my model and the output is now in a .pdf format. It's a full page advanced statistical analysis of each game. It compares the two teams playing based on the four factors, shot locations, pace, efficiency ratings, points per game, and PER by position. I've also converted the power ranking numbers into a score prediction for the game so value can be determined against both the ATS line and the total. And the best part is, I've made the model entirely automated so the data will be up-to-the-minute accurate. So no more updates every 10-14 days. I'm going to have breakdowns published for every single game, every single day.
I've just got to figure out a good way to publish the .pdf's online so you all can access them easily. I know Happy Kane uses Google Docs for his mojo charts and that links quite easily into these forums so I'm exploring that as an option right now.
This is pretty exciting for me... it's the culmination of A LOT of work. I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback on the formatting. Stay tuned for the update later tonight. |

These numbers are a little out of date...but I just ran across this thread and noticed something...
If you kick out all the games with 3 or more POV against the spread...you are left with a record of 46-21 (69%)... |

I wouldn't touch Portland with a 10 foot pole, but Was, Min and Lac all look good.
