Woodson in San Francisco tonight as Goldson goes to bucc's. Coincidence?
He spent many season with Oakland so he would be comfortable in the Bay Area for sure... but I don't see him as an every down player anymore... maybe a split time player... to add a nice veteran presence to the team.
I'd love to see SF pick up and draft that kid who got booted from LSU. I can't remember his name... but I'm sure many of you do.

Welker stepped up HUGE when the Pats TE's were down last season... even as the Pats had been trying to phase him out... he still delivered. Very professional.
As for Amendola... He is no where near as durable as Welker BUT with all the other options available for Brady... maybe Amendola will be able to give them an injury free season or two.
Everyone considers Belichik the best... but the Pats dropped the ball with Welker in my opinion.
The Broncos stuck it to the Pats with this signing and Welker will be a nice relief valve for Peyton (who I can't stand).
welker in the slot will give thomas and decker one on ones on the outside, this will probably be the #1 offense in the league next year barring some kind of injury

The system sucks when you lose people who really don't want to leave except for the almighty dollar...Loyality is no longer part of the youth of today, and yea I'm in my mid 50's...
That is not really a fair comment. It is not like the teams are loyal to their players either... You cannot blame it on the youth.
