#1 Posted: 1/16/2010 12:46:46 AM Due to technical difficulties (which kept me alive) my survivor contest is still going and I need help with a team. I plan on going with a favorite but can't figure out which one to go with and I need your help to advance. I personally think all dogs have a chance to pull out an upset so I can't pick 1 concrete team that I have a lot of confidence in. I've already decided to stay away from the Cowboys and Vikings game which leaves 3 left. So please...cast your votes and HELP ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just nervous about all the layoff the Colts have been dealing with. And I can't take an under in an NFL Survivor Contest |

GL Sparky, get that
Ravens secondary is suspect. No trust in Flacco. The Ravens looked good against a Pats team that mailed it in and the Ravens still left them hanging around. The Pats had 5 chances to get back in that game, but they couldn't block, catch, tackle or coach. 27-13 sounds about right.

#10 Posted: 1/16/2010 1:22:22 AM To many Colts...that gets me nervous.
I would have lost last week if the site didn't go down as I took the Bengals...with everyone else.
But reasoning is also very appreciated.

#13 Posted: 1/16/2010 1:30:53 AM Peyton manning threw 2 picks, and the colts lost a fumble on the Ravens goal line, which would have been first and goal. This will not happen again.
Rust isn't a factor, don't even think it.
Garcon and Wayne torched the Ravens last time they played.
The ravens were held by a suspect colts D to 5 field goals.
Peyton still had 300yds, it wasn't like they were stopping him.
Addai also ran the ball well in that game.

How do you know that Peyton won't throw 2 picks again but Garcon and Wayne will torch the defense? Are you just thinking that way to like the Colts more? Curious how you can think 1 way but not the other. |

#18 Posted: 1/16/2010 2:01:36 AM Two teams I don't think you can go wrong selecting this weekend for your contest are Indianapolis and San Diego.
Arizona/New Orleans and Dallas/Minnesota will be more of a crap shoot and if your choice went as far as those two games I would lean Arizona/Dallas. But, the top two in the AFC should be safe.

Flacco threw 1. Which is a good game for him. Do you believe after completing 4 passes just 1 week ago he can turn around and throw the ball better than Peyton Manning?
This game won't be 17-15, Flacco is going to need to produce on offense, and he will not.
The Ravens D is good not great, and this is why I believe if Garcon, Wayne, and Santi can have 19 catches for 280 yds. Than Clark, Garcon, and Wayne will put that up, if not more.
Manning > Flacco
Defense won't win this game, neither are good enough to stop the other.

same can be said for Sanchez and the Jets.....two best plays are Colts and Chargers....other two games are much much tougher

#21 Posted: 1/16/2010 2:29:20 AM Double post..
The reason the Colts D looks good is because Peyton finds a way to get the lead, and gives his defense a good spot to be in. They may not always be great, but that defense makes plays when they need to.
If they force Flacco into the air, it's to their benefit. Obviously.
