#52 Posted: 3/25/2012 1:17:19 AM Too bad Quick didn't play for a different team, I think he alone would increase a teams chances of winning a Cup. But the Kings are definitely headed in the right direction now. I wouldn't mind seeing them get far in the West. What about the Stars? Nobody is really talking about them... |

#54 Posted: 3/25/2012 1:28:32 AM Okay...then the Hawks. They are heating up at the right time. I'm just curious where they will be seeded in the playoffs. |

#55 Posted: 3/25/2012 1:34:10 AM The Stars could be a surprise in the first round, depending on who they face. They have a deep lineup with a nice mix of veteran and young players, and a quality goalie. However, I'm not crazy about their defense. Maybe my dislike for Souray is colouring my view, but that guy was always an adventure in his own zone when he was in Edmonton. Anyways, if the playoffs started tonight, Dallas would be playing the Hawks...a very tough draw, but I can see that going 6 or 7 games.

I don't think the Stars have what it takes when all is said and done.

#57 Posted: 3/25/2012 1:43:40 AM Toews has been practicing with the team lately but they said don't rush him back. I bet give it another week and they will have him playing. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/hockey/blackhawks/11511655-419/jonathan-toews-practices-with-team-again-but-is-playing-it-safe.html |

#58 Posted: 3/25/2012 9:01:13 AM I'm only saying this because it's true... I told my family that I think the BlackHawks would find a way to win again this season. I believed that they would acquire a good goalie in the FA during the off season... but they did not... and I have stuck by my prediction despite that... Of course I'd rather see the Flyers of Kings win it first... but that was my prediction... that the Hawks would be the new Wings... winning a cup or two every few years for a decade or so.
Calm down Hook... My opinion is not worth much |

#62 Posted: 3/27/2012 12:54:19 AM That loss really hurts the Kings... They had some great chances but struckout... Sucks that Quick gets a loss for that effort. I wonder how many 0-1 and 1-2 losses he has had in his time with LA. |

#63 Posted: 3/27/2012 1:14:20 AM That was the 25th time this season that the Kings entered the 3rd period of a game with 2 or goals less scored in the game between both teams...That's nuts Skubi...
