I think the Hawks have lost their minds. They look like they are playing their fools off today to earn a first round date against the Predators. That is a terrible matchup for the Hawks and they know it, because many of them have publicly said the Predators are the hardest team in the league to play against. Ok then Hawks, so what gives??

both teams are playing hard right now. like is anyone honestly scared of the coyotes, kings or sharks right now. 
F*ck playing nashville if you ask me, they're def. gonna be taking whoever they play to the woodshed win/lose

You don't want to tank a game and lose momentum heading into the playoffs.
I agree with your thoughts on what is best for Chicago I just don't buy into the belief that players intentionally lose or don't try as hard.

GL today Yes I agree with that and have said it myself many times. However, there is a difference between trying and busting your behind. Clearly the Hawks could care less who they play and just want to win this game very badly and head into the playoffs on a winning note, no matter what that brings their way.
In contrast, even though my Flyers beat Buffalo the other night to lock up the 5 seed, they played a very poor and effortless game, looking like they were giving Buffalo ever opportunity to take it. The Sabres are just so pathetic they could not accept the gift and Bryzgalov also did play very well.
