Mr Gecko are you playing all these totals?  Your final card should be in by Friday with straight plays included?

Just wondering

Just wondering

I've played all the totals listed so far and BC +5.5 so far.  I'll list the sides as well tomorrow. Other totals may not make the cut.

49 for the Miami / Oklahoma Game?!!

I think I'm pounding this Over. I'm pretty sure this game is going to resemble the Miami / Florida St game quite a bit. Lots of completed passes and offense. I don't think as many points will be scored, at least on Miami's part, but I think the offense will chip in 21 to 28 points. The Miami athletes are much faster than BYU and they have more playmakers than BYU....and BYU had success throwing. As far as OU's offense vs. Miami's defense.....Well, Miami's defense will give up points until something changes or until they play a weak opponent. I see this game as being a shootout or OU putting up 30+ and Miami making up the rest to get that Over 49.....(and I'm a Miami fan. )

Good Luck Sir.
You have done some good research and it shows in your record. I love the ND under and BC as well.
probably tail you on a few Over/Unders also.

LSU @ Georgia

NCAA Total:  50.5 (dropped from 52.5)

Game Percentage:  59% on the under

Game Capped:  60

Weather:  70 degrees 8mph winds

Next week’s match-ups:  Florida @ LSU, Georgia @ Tennessee

Points for LSU:         PPG 28.75

Points for Georgia:    PPG 30.75

Georgia’s Total Defense:      67th

LSU’s Total Defense:           49th

Sacks:  Both teams are 89th in the nation getting to the QB.  LSU has forced some turnovers this year at 5th in the nation, while Georgia is on the opposite end at 115th in the nation.

Last years game hit 90 total points.  Do I think it’ll hit that, absolutely not, however both teams do not seem to possess that SEC defense that other teams have in the conference.  Offensively they are able to score.  Both teams lack pressure on QB leaving 2nd and 3rd reads to be effectively thrown.  Georgia will probably stack the box early, leaving the big play possibility to run its course.  I’m disagreeing with the market perception that SEC is all about defense and with Green as a playmaker and top 5 in NCAA at WR, this over should be at 60.  These offenses outweigh each team’s defense.

PLAY: OVER 50.5 (waiting for 49 if possible)

Florida State @ Boston College

Ncaa side:  FSU -3.5
Opening Line:  FSU -5.5
Weather:  Expected Rain and Storms
Percentage on Game:  53% on Seminoles

I bought into the line early receiving Boston College @ +5.5 early when the odds came out. The line quickly dropped to 3.5 in most places with a recent buy back to 4.  It looks like I'll beat the closing line in this one.  FSU is on the brink of Bowden era comng to an end.  They folded against an average USF defense.  Where I like BC this weekend is their ability to tackle for loss (8th in the country).  This will set up 2nd and 3rd and longs.  It's wet and FSU strength offensively is throwing (20th in nation), however with a wet ball and an aggressive defense (18th) in nation, I'll take almost a TD at home.  Don't get me wrong FSU has more playmakers than BC but defense should win this game.

I disagree with the market backing a road FSU team that seems to be in turmoil.

Play:  Boston College +3 or more

Cincinatti @ Miami Ohio

NCAA TOTAL:  60
Percentage:  77% on the over
Game capped:  54

Cincinatti has held the Big East in the conversation as the Bearcats continue to break top 15 each year.  Brian Kelly has done an outstanding job with this team and with a Sr. led QB the team is on all cylinders.  However, they are playing a bad Miami Ohio team who should get 14 pts or less IMO.  They've been shutout twice this year and laying 8 TD's and a fg is a lot for a total when you have one dominant team and one lousy team.  Look for the Bearcats to hold back after 3 quarter and winning this one convincingly but staying under the total.

I disagree with the market here and see a dominating game from Cincinatti 45-7 in that range.

Arkansas St @ Iowa

NCAA TOTAL:  45
Percentage:  60% on the under
Game Capped:  41

Its a smaller play on my part however Iowa at home and facing a decent defense from Ark St may keep them in this game for a half.  Obviously Iowa coming off huge win may be in let down stage keeping it close and low scoring.   Iowa plays defense and I don't expect more than 10 pts from Ark  St.  I could see a 30 -10 final  Iowa has not hit the total of 45 on the year and oddsmakers seem to be a td off the total.  Iowa ranks 6th on tpassing defense and 81st in total offense, while Ark St ranks  72nd in offense and 25th in rushing defense.

WOw, about to go 0-4 with 4 of your totals, not blaming you or anything as it is tail at your own risk, but how unlucky is that. Also, the last second blocked PAT really hurts bad.
