I apologize for bumping my own thread, but after watching the Wild come back on the Hawks last night, I mean... C'mon! How can some of you defend a system that rewards a team for not only losing the game, but for losing it in the manner in which they did.
If you want to make the "moral victory" argument, fine, but somehow I doubt Kane and Toews were high fiving everyone on the bus after the game. And as for the "both teams played hard" argument, I don't know, but it doesn't look like the Hawks were playing too damn hard the final 14 minutes of the game.
So for those of you in the 'YES' camp who had the Hawks last night (and using your logic) I want you to call up your sportsbook and explain to them: "Well, Chicago had the lead for most of the game, so shouldn't I at least get some of my money back?" Let us know how that works out.
