#26 Posted: 2/16/2011 12:41:50 PM The Reds will outscore the Phills this year...again...Reds have a great young core of players that not only have the ability to hit for power and average, but they have speed and play great defense.....I am in no way saying they will be better than the Phils but the Reds will be the only team that has a fighting chance this year to compete with Philadelphia..
Reds have great pitching, starting and bull pen...and tag that along with their defensive guys, I see no other team that will compete with the Phils week in and week out....
The big question mark will be if Vegas see's the same thing out of the Reds as I do, or if they will treat the Reds like they did last year....and if they treat the Reds like last year than I will make a ton of units, hopefully.....
and I would almost bet money that the Phils hit a few losing streaks this year...it happens to every team. |

#29 Posted: 2/18/2011 4:50:18 AM May like the Phillies games under in the cooler months due to overinflated totals.Especially when opponents bring in left hand hitters.Jason Worths pop will be missed and Phillies starters may be the best weve seen in a while. |

#30 Posted: 2/18/2011 10:07:42 AM Phillies will struggle against lefties all year. They just have to be healthy come playoff time. That rotation will be a nightmare in a series.

They only have 3, maybe 4, competent lefty starters in their division and Johan is always shaky. I will be surprised if they see 40 competent lefty starters all year. Should run away with their division.

Chooch hit .324 last season with men on base

There are some other teams in the NL that are on the Reds level. For one, let's not discount the WS champs that rode their pitching to a parade. |
