NORFOLK-- Kent Bazemore, star forward for the ODU Monarchs, was
arrested by Virginia Beach police before he was to play in an ODU
playoff game Wednesday Night.
The arrest came during team warm ups at the Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk but did not happen on the basketball court.
According to Beach police spokesperson, Margie Hobbs, Bazemore was charged with Revocation of Suspended Sentence for DUI.
A search of court records showed that Bazemore had been arrested for
1st offence DUI in August of 2011 and as part of his sentence was to
attend Alcohol Safety Action Program (ASAP) classes. According to the
records he alegedly had not complied with the requirements of the
program.
Hobbs was not certain if Bazemore was charged with a misdemeanor or a felony.
ODU issued a statement saying the school could not comment because it was a student privacy issue.

He was literally pulled off the court while doing layup drills. So it happened minutes before the game tipped which allowed no time for books to even adjust... |

ESPN is usually never the 1st to report things anymore. It's been that way for years now since the internet has risen to a level that allows every Tom, person & Harry to create a website and start conducting business. ESPN is the channel that public america turns on to get info on things...

YES! Two of the sharper shops in Cris and the Greek held 7.5/8 for most of the day and closed 7 just minutes before tip. Those are very big adjustments to a non-public side at books that do not adjust for just anybody.
