I would think a good rule of thumb would be to make sure a C bet loss or series loss would only be 20% of your bankroll. so assuming at -200 odds a series loss is a -24 units - you should have a bankroll of 120 units

This way you could theoretically lose 5 series in a row before you're busto

Starting since the begining of May, this is how I have the systems production:                                                                                      45 wins of 1 unit: +45

Losses:                                                                                                   Bos vs Tex, Game A(+119): -0.84, B(+158): -1.17, C(-130): -3.9= -5.91 units

NYY vs NYM, Game A(-104): -1.04, B(+124): -1.65, C(-180): -5.47= -8.16 units

ATL vs SD, Game A(-131): -1.31, B(-114): -2.64, C(-122):-4.88= -8.83 units

Total loss of 22.9 units with 45 gained = 22.1 units to the good

I am definately OK with those results a month and a half in

What system are you using to bet?  I had better numbers than you in each of the ATL games and lost 10.2 units.

you are right, C bet should of been 6.03 units for C game to win 1.  I messed up and bet 4.88 to break even in series.......Geez did i do it wrong in other C bets as well?

Maybe i can take that as a win of 1.15 that i didnt lose

Thanks for clarifying my mistake

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that be 26 units?

Assuming $100 unit size...

A - $200 to win $100. Loss $200, bet to win $300 on B game

B - $600 to win $300. Loss $600, $800 total, bet to win $900 C game

C - $1800 to win $900. Loss $1800, $2600 total (26 units).

Yup you're right Dan - screwed up the math but you get the point. Your bankroll needs to support several series losses - just in case

Hats off to Dan for taking time to continue a thread which was abandoned by its creator. System has never had three losses, that being said , are we missing something? maybe there is a filter or rule we overlooked?  Just thinking out loud...

The system had more than three losses last season.

I think there were only 2 losses last year - Series that started May 28 with Mil and Dodgers and series that started Aug 6 with Cincy and Mil.

I believe there were two losses in May alone.  Cin also had a home loss against the Cubs, I believe.  That one was a high juice killer.

I went back and looked at the 2012 thread and the Mets lost a series that started in late April. I didn't have that on my spreadsheet from last year since I started it on May 3. May has been the traditional start of the system so I didn't pick up or count the Mets loss on my records.

Oak Stl and Pitts look like plays tomorrow from my calculations. Think I'm gonna stick with Oak at home and stl on the road versus Mia. Keep it to a two game chase need to build the bank back. Good luck everyone.

Pitt is also in a revenge series scenario as they were swept by LAD at start of the season in LA..........might try to sneak out 2 units in this series chase

Why do I get the feeling that the NYY series is going to be Bos at Tex all over again?

I'm confused... Can you explain how your record is 46-3 if you had 3 losses last night?  Did you only take the Pittsburgh game?
