When have you ever seen a full 2 min 5 on 3 PP in a game 6 of the playoffs on a fabricated call?  You watch too much TV and listen to a goalie bable about a USELESS GOAL!!  THAT GOAL didn`t change anything, other than your wagers.  Nursing the wealthy Canadian team,,,R U for real  I SWEAR TO GOD NOW IVE HEARD IT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!  A Canadian team hasn`t won the cup in 20 years and you have the balls to talk about nursing.  I`d ban you if i was a mod for imposing as a hockey guy.

its simple.

the ref got on the phone and called vegas. vegas then told the ref that the goal would darn all the rangrs puckline betters and the unders. vegas then went on to tell the refs to make sure no other goal is allowed to ensure none of the 'over' betters hit.

even if its a close call whether he got some contact with the kicking motion. You have to call it off just for the fact he skewered Hank out of the way and whiffed trying to kick it in. I thought he hit the top of the puck with his skate pretty clearly. Awful call.....if they tied it up after that and won in ot it would have been one of the worst calls in sports history imo

What`s the point of having a goal reviewed if you watch the film and still get it wrong That goal was dishonest

Had the puckline and the over, was not sure what to root for regarding the review wagerwise, was kind of hoping for it to count(which sucks as a Ranger fan) and then would be rooting for empty netter.  Clearly not a goal.  Refs have been awful throughout the playoffs.

Bingo.....I have to shake my at these people who think that it matters. There are thousands of Canadians who cheer for 'American' teams...it really doesn't matter....I think it's a media thing. The Canadian media needs something to talk about..Lets get serious....if you took the Canadians out of the NHL, it would have less talent than the East Coast hockey league...

A long thread about a goal that meant absolutely nothing to the outcome of the game

If there is a question to be asked here, it is why was there a 5 on 3 pp given on that horrendous call? That is what decided the outcome of the game if anything.

But the Rangers played very well and beat the Senators, period. Can we move on now from the meaningless goal that meant zero?

Rangers straight up at -110 was such a gift to win last nite

Rangers finally put complete game together and now hit their stride against the overachieving young Sen team. Again last nite 1st period under hitwhen henri is in goal. Unreal how its hitting somewhere in the 7 out of 10 clip last 10 weeks,Ive posed this a few times already over that time period  hope some of u have been on this.  Gonna reserach exact numbers on this .started last 8 weeks or so in Reg season .I think in last 6 playoff games only once it didnt hit

Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson uncharacteristically smashed his stick and stomped on a water bottle after returning to the bench in the 3rd period.  When reporters asked why (the normally mild mannered) captain was sooo angry, he responded "I don't know"...Good ol Alfie, classy to the very end.  No worries man, some of us know why.  Enjoy the offseason
