True, but he sure passes the eye test.
I think Washington gave up too much, but don't consider it as lousy of a trade as many here do.
It's been proven time and time again you need a big time QB to win big in the NFL. If they hit on this pick, they will likely say it was worth it. If they miss, it's complete disaster obviously.
I would have liked it a lot better if it was 2 firsts and maybe a 2nd or a 3rd rounder in 2014 instead of another first.
Chicago gave up two 1st rounders, a 3rd rounder AND Orton for Cutler. I get they don't have any regrets. But your front office better do well in the draft with your lower picks. |
