Hope JVR plays because the Leafs rely on the chemistry of that big line and when it's off the whole team follows. Clarkson suits up tonight for the Leafs and that gives them a good boost of toughness. Kadri is playing great and when that happens at the same time as the Kessel line lighting up and Bernier feeling comfortable in the starting spot they become one of the best clubs in the east. Even without JVR they should win but it sure would be icing on the cake if he does play. BOLTA

Nothing ain't free! But the Maple Leafs are too darn good recently. In their last ten they are 8-1-1. With Bernier starting in the net; he is 7-1-1 with a 2.72 GAA during Toronto's run.

I go with Toronto moneyline.

With Clarkson back they will start him on the third line with Raymond and McClement which is a tough line with a pretty big offensive upside. This gives them 3 lines that can score. Their 2nd line could be a first on many teams in the east. Once Bolland comes back we'll really see what they can do but they've done surprisingly well for an injury plagued team. Small risk they come out flat because everything is going too well right now. Often when they get too high they come crashing back to earth with a real bad loss, but I doubt they'll lack focus tonight because they are closing in on home ice advantage in the playoff race. They need this win and the points to keep up and if they win tonight in regulation and TB loses they can tie them and then they square off later in the week. Kessel and JVR seem to be in the group of Olympians that are really lighting it up before they go, and I expect they will continue the offensive onslaught tonight. The team has a real swagger to it that they haven't had since the Sundin days. Everything points to a Leafs Win. BOLTA
