Veralnder starting then Sale, Weaver, Wilson and Felix, Tough pitchers to produce runs off of..
National League has Good pitchers also but i think AL's lineup and Pitchers are better overall. just my opinion..
u guys playing anything ?
National league has won 2 years in a row now with an inferior line up each time like usual... there are some GREAT players in the national league, but there is a reason the AL went undefeated something like 12 years in a row prior... better hitting, better pitching... if the nl wins, it will be because they get UNBELIEVABLE pitching from Cain and Dickey, and of course whoever follows... will most likely be going with the AL

I was almost thinking the opposite... like almost limiting it to just the big conferences... big ten, big 12, sec, acc, big east, pac 12, and maybe the mwc...?? i just find it to be more interesting if we leave it to the high quality football... maybe include a few smaller conferences like the mac, cusa, wac..... but i think it would be best with just the big conferences personally

#456 Posted: 7/10/2012 9:06:43 PM i like the idea of only BCS conference games as well.
Toledo last year played b2b games lose 63-60 and won 66-63 if memory serves correct.
I used to do a CFB fantasy league where only t25 teams were allowed that was hard as hell to do |

#458 Posted: 7/10/2012 10:11:00 PM so it would be ok if u have a guy on Florida and they pound Appalachian State 69-0 but its not ok to have guys on toledo ?
does Yahoo give u the option of drafting how u want or are all the players ranked in College Football ? i never played College Fantasy.. |

#459 Posted: 7/11/2012 9:53:22 AM Personally I would like only major conferences, just so difficult to keep track of all the small ball schools, some guys on schools I never heard of put up ridiculous numbers but are meaningless stat wise cause they come against crappy teams and such, I can see college ball being a huge time sink, having to read and study all the schools and players prior to the draft and then having to keep up with the league reading box scores and playing matchups throughout the week! It's defiantly not as easy as an nfl league would be. And I may be wrong but in college it doesn't mean anything having the "best" player as opposed to having a player that plays in the best "system" per say? |

#460 Posted: 7/11/2012 9:57:02 AM Like I said I'm not going to worry about the college one until I know the league would be full. Will there being a good chanceof another nfl league for $100-$150 people may want to just do that instead. As always what ever you guys want. |

Remember though philly..
say florida wins 69-0 vs D1AA team... the starters only play a hal so the #'s won't be as crazy |

#472 Posted: 7/12/2012 12:22:04 AM Sparky: did u take any of them 4 guys i sent or Parlay any ? i lost the 2 dogs for -100 but cleaned up on them 4 and the Parlays.. hit 3 different parlays and pounded Dillashaw/Simpson
Weidman's the real deal man, i thought his inxperience in the Octagon would come into play and i thought Munoz would win a close fight but he destroyed him, controled him on the ground all Rd 1 and landed that elbow and that was all she wrote.. Ref should've stopped it way before.. he was out on his feet right after that elbow then came back a little once he got hit 3-4 times.. impressive win for Weidman and then he calls out Anderson.. |

#473 Posted: 7/12/2012 2:12:47 PM Nah. I got no money in my account right now. Only fitting to have that be the case as you cleaned house.
Congrats on your night, though. Hopefully I'm back in commission for the 21st. I never heard of Faber or Barao...OR Boetsch or Lombard. But that's my inexperience. Is this a good card or is it as bad as it seemed when they were advertising it during Sonnen v Silva? |

#474 Posted: 7/12/2012 5:15:48 PM Manram, how cheap you willing to go for pedroia? It's no secret to anyone that I need help at 2b, but a 3 week time table kinda scares me lol. The next 3 weeks for me will make or break my season...huge matchups for me. Let me know what you have in mind. I know I haven't been the easiest to get a deal done with this year, and I hate messing with a first place team, but I really need help at 2nd lol. No harm in a little back and forth to see if we can get garbage done? |

It would be tough. I'm not going as low as griffin, Sanchez, hellickson and you know my feelings about Romero. If any of the other guys are possible sure we could get something done.
