Some shots I took of my TV as I watch CNN for this verdict.
I gotta say I like this guy O'Mara but I still think Z is guilty of manslaughter.
Either way he has made sure to fund this case almost all on his own and donations.
And he has even returned money to KKK/ Neo-Nazis. At least I would expect that but good thing.
You guys think we get a verdict today?
All these moronic talking heads keep interjecting their own psychobabble about how it could take long because of that extra series of pieces of evidence they requested...
But then these talking heads have also said that they noticed the jury of these women get along a lot and that they have been very cooperative when engaging each other and from observing them

Additionally Z will never live a sane life after this trial regardless of what happens, from not dropping the soap to having to be in hiding and risking your life every day he steps foot out side.
I honestly think he might get shot dead in cold blood if he's acquitted..
He better invest in some more fire power, we might see him back in court in the next years if he is acquitted.

Exactly what I was thinking. If he is acquitted, where will he even go to be safe? He will forever be a marked man.
I personally think he will get convicted of manslaughter even if the evidence doesn't support it. The 6 woman jury may just try to avoid the race riots. Hard to tell, just guessing as we all are at this point.

I think manslaughter is a reasonable conviction something if you watched the case and especially the closing statement, O'Mara did not really address that thoroughly
O'Mara did a good job making sure to argue that Z does not get convicted of 2nd degree murder, but he didn't really make sure that Z is not found guilty of manslaughter

I'd agree with that. The defense fell flat on addressing the manslaughter charge. But if the jury cites self defense on the Murder 2, I'd think that could apply to manslaughter too.
I guess we'll have to wait and see. Either way, there is no happy ending with this. Sad that this whole thing could have been avoided if Z or T did things differently.

I just don't understand this case. The definitions provided essentially overlook the stand your ground law.
I think we all understand that this points out a blaring loophole in the law, and the law will (and should) subsequently be changed, but I do not understand how they are going to give him a manslaughter charge.
I hate how MSNBC and CNN poisoned the public opinion of Zimmerman prior to the trial so that riots and unrest can almost be ensured. I am not saying it is illegal, but if anyone dies when this guy gets off, you can talk to Al Sharpton, and his cronies.

Well, in our legal system I think the correct verdict was found given all the evidence & testimony & lack of same. Was an incredibly tough case to get beyond reasonable doubt to begin with, but thought the prosecution did a poor job to boot. They're only hope was to poke as many & as serious of common sense holes in Z's story as possible & they were all over the place up until closing arguments.
Imo Z was guilty of manslaughter & that should have been the original charge earlier... if neccessary working down to aggravated assault. Would have severely minimized or eliminated the big race outcry/furor (while still being legally justified imo) & overreach of murder 2 by Corey. Just glad it's over & hope nothing bad happens to Z, but don't think we got to the actual truth of what really happened at all.
