Correct.
Not worth my time.
I did not want to make excuses for him, but I guess I will because I understand what he has to do to become president.
first post was about the guy running Rand Paul's evangelical outreach. This is about what I would expect for evangelical outreach. Considering that he has to be a little over the top because Rand Paul has done things like promoted an abandoning of the Defense of Marriage act. To put a whackaloon like this guy out there is perfect politics. It makes up for the fact that Rand Paul is essentially a moderate who has the same beliefs on happy marriage that Obama does.
The second was a conversation, where I believe that Glenn Beck does most of the whackaloon talk. I didn't think Rand Paul said anything that overtly awful, but whatever. I'm sure that people that would never vote for him in the first place will care, and not many more.
Here is the reality of the situation.
Rand paul needs the evangelical whackaloons and to not sully himself he sent an emissary who will wade deep into the psyche of these idiots.
Same with Glenn Beck listeners, he needs these people to win.
It is a fine balance that his father never understood. Or maybe he did, but it was too late.
He needs the Neo-Cons, and I am not sure how he gets that.
The republican base is comprised of Evangelicals, Neo-cons, Old people and the libertarian sect.
Look, the sad fact is, he is never going to get the happy vote. He is never going to get the Black vote.
Maybe if he runs with a happy or black person he might capture a sliver.
It is time to be real, Obama didn't get into the white house on his Hope and change alone.
You have to be a shrewd and smart operator to capture the votes you need.
