However, only one of them pulled a trigger, and ended a life that day. Only one of them has the opportunity to tell their side of the story and defend their version of events. Again, the casual nature of accepting that version of events is a big part of the problem.

Yes he was dumb enough to complicate things by having a gun on his person while performing neighborhood watch duties.
Unfortunately, we have to reconstruct the events with evidence we have.

Zimmerman should have a day in court.
From the information I see it looks like it was a justified killing by Florida standards.
When Zimmerman is acquitted how much will the media have cultivated and engineered the riots that will obviously ensue?
I used to watch evening news, and morning joe. darn the news, they are literally tearing this country apart for ratings and book deals.

Except that there is such a thing as chain of events where cops or witnesses would have already been on the scene before that could happen reasonably.
My guess is the cops already took this into consideration and its complete bullshit for you to try to interject that.

Either way, the SMEAR campaign against Trayvon Martin is completely offsides.
That's the point of this thread.
Calling for an arrest like this proves that you're biased. Or it proves that you know very little about the legal system. Or both.

Wait a minute. What if the investigation turns up to exhonerate the person you're investigating? Wouldn't that mean that you had improperly jailed that person, just to find out the facts?
