#4 Posted: 11/24/2011 7:51:26 PM No Never Never Never. Always try and haggle - it's fun watching those lying salespeople bullshit and end up grovelling for your patronage.
Watch and jewelery retailers have room to move since they are making alot of Money on non limited items.
However, I find countries like Australia have huge mark ups. My Mum worked there on an assignment and she told us that clothes, watches, DVDs, CDs, Books, TVs, Houses were ridiculous prices.
And the stupid Australians keep on spending during "Cost Sales" thinking they are getting a bargain when they are already paying for a huge profit.

#7 Posted: 1/27/2012 2:19:26 AM There are plenty of deals out here.......with todays economy, the sale of gold is up big time for the people that need money. If you're looking to buy a new Rolex watch, you can probably get a deal if you know the owner of the store or you are buying more than 1 watch. I find you can haggle better with used Roles or any other high end watches. |
