I have dsl and have an Actiontec combo router. I've always used Linksys previously but it seemed after 6 months my connections would take forever to load and/or timeout. I got this Actiontec and I've never had a single issue in the year of owning it. It may not be the best name brand modem but it is absolutely the best modem I've ever used.
