Love and Other Drugs....pretty worthless except for Ann Hathaway showing skin.  I would work that behind so hard.

watched Three Days of the Condor (1975) last night on TCM. was a pretty good "spy vs spy" mystery-action movie with Robert Redford and Faye Dunaway in their prime. lot of "twists and turns" in the plot. Max von Sydow is his usual menacing self as an assassin and Cliff Robertson is good as Redford's double crossing CIA boss.

worth watching IF you like the "spy vs spy" genre.

safe house was pretty good. I like just about anything denzel does. This movie wasnt as good as training day to me, but was similar in some ways.

I saw Black Swan.  I thought it was a crazy movie, borderline creepy.  Portman's character was absolutely nuts.

Safe house was pretty good*

For the record thats what I said and I liked it.  I guess when you watch previews for 2 months you are always going to be a tiny bit dissapointed. I give it a 8/10

Hobo with a Shotgun (2011)

a Quentin Tarantino style blood & gore Canadian action movie. pretty much constant action with oodles of ordnance. thought Rutger Hauer was pretty good as the Hobo killing all the bad guys.

Finding Neverland (2004) the basic story of how Scottish play write J. M. Barrie was inspired to write Peter Pan

first 10 minutes I was saying "THIS sucks for a Johnny Depp movie" BUT as it went forward it turned into a pretty good story with excellent acting by all involved.

50/50  I thought this was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I could relate to all of the doctor, hospital and surgey garbage and thought it was very well done. A terrific movie
Joseph Gordon Levitt was great
Anna Kendrick is adorable

watched the 1976 futuristic sci-fi classic Logan's Run the other night on TCM. interesting story with decent action and special effects (for the mid 70's). had Michael York as Logan a "Sand Man", Jenny Agutter as Jessica his love interest, a young Farrah Fawcett as Holly , Peter Ustinov as The Old Man and Roscoe Lee Browne as Box the freezer robot.

can't wait to see that. hoping it lives up to all the hype.

watched A Soldier's Story (1984) last night on the Sony Movie channel. the basic plot is the investigation of the murder of a hated black Sergeant with the undertones of the "Jim Crow" segregated Army in WWII.

GREAT acting by a mostly black cast including Howard E. Rollins, Jr. as Capt. Davenport, Adolph Caesar as Sgt. Waters, Larry Riley as C.J. Memphis and Denzel Washington as Pfc. Peterson. Adolph Caeser should have gotten an Oscar nomination.

definately recommend

The Descendants

Not the type of movie I like to watch, but it was a good flick.
