#1 Posted: 6/23/2012 9:59:40 PM These 2 teams played each other earlier this year down at Melbourne. The dogs have come the closest to the Storm this year down in Melbourne (i am not including the tigers win without there Storm trio).
We lost by 6, and one of there tries should never have been a try (Storm prop Vavai dropped the ball into a dogs player and straight back to Vavai - play on and the Storm scored the very next play the ball).
Furthermore, the dogs got stopped right right on the try line about 3 times with Reynolds actually hitting the goal post which prevented him from scoring.
The dogs back then were still a work in progress and IMO are a much much better team 2 odd months down the track, especially with the addition of the skillful Inu who seems to have found some sort of consistency under Dessie, it is early yet, but maybe someone like Des can do wonders for Inu.
The Storm are without Billy.
Now, i know he missed the game last week and they won, i think this will work into the dogs favour, because that should eliminate any complacency, with everyone knowing the storm can win without slater.
Furthermore, Smith and Cronk are in the middle of an origin campaign, played on a very heavy track last week in a very very physical game. Now they have to travel up to QLD. This is a very good spot for the Dogs. Smith and Cronk have played on 2 very heavy tracks in 2 very bruising games in a row
Furthermore, the game changed last week after Glenn Stewart who is probably there best player left the game last week...
I am on the dogs, however, the refs may have different ideas. |

#5 Posted: 6/23/2012 10:14:38 PM I don't know how anyone can bet this sport, especially against a team in which refs love... apparently.

Are any of these reports that are issued by betting agencies verified? You see it all the time from all the books, just a cheap way for them to get publicity.
Neil Evans was a serial offender when it came to tweeting supposed big bets that were staked with centrebet.
