Bets from 1-5 units

Both bets taken from pinnacle

Lochte to win 400IM - (-140) (5 units)

This is a race in 2 between Phelps and Lochte but the longer distance works in Lochte's favor. Since Beijing Olympics, Phelps had dropped this race from his program and it was only a late decision for him to swim the race as his last 4 years were focused more on the sprint events. Lochte has dominated the event in the past 2 years and should cap it off with gold.

Boonen over Boasson Hagan - (+134) (3 units)

Boonen has been focusing on the Olympics this season and has the added advantage in this matchup against EBH because EBH is just coming off 3 weeks riding for Wiggins in the TDF where he was basically acting as a domestique. He has dominated the spring classics this season and whilst breakaway is his best method of victory he is still a better sprinter than EBH if it does come down to a mass sprint.

Riner to win mens 100kg+ Judo - (-200) (5 units)

Getting on this one now because it will only shorten. Riner has dominated the weight class since Beijing, he has lost only once in the last 4 years in major competition and even that loss was very dubious decision against Kamikawa in Tokyo.

I have loved this bet from the beginning.  Only reason why this isn't -180 or higher is because it's Phelps.  Phelps is not a distance guy and the 400 doesn't interest him.

Let's get it!

Not a bad price considering the way she ran at the trials. But with the sprints I prefer to watch the heats before pulling the trigger

Big mail that Steve Hooker has been running dead all year in competition and he has loaded up on himself at 25/1 to win, stands to win a fortune.

Now into 12/1 if anyone is interested

Phelps almost misses the final heat in the 400m qualification.

Kromowidjojo to win womens 100m free - (-110) (5 units)

She just swan 51.93 (!!!) in her split for the Dutch in the 4 x 100m relay which is just out of this world.

Honestly the only way they don't win is if they get DQ'd IMO. Only reason why I haven't posted that is I am still trying to shop for the best line. Still have time before the heats start

Btw get on Kromo in the 100m womens davo. She should be a -200 favorite based on the way she swam the relay last night. Relays are a great indicator to see how the swimmers are feeling and speed

Pinny has them at 1.58 so I missed the boat. Hopefully they look like garbage in the heats so they drift a little

He has been laboring in the heats and SF whereas van Der Burgh looked strong in the SF breaking an O/R as well. Looked liked he had more in reserve as well
