Sunday Night

Tigers-2 over Blaze (Big Play)

Tigers at home, rested & desperate to make the top 4 spot will be primed for a bounceback here after two straight losses last round. Blaze travel & fatigue is a big factor coming back from Perth after another crushing defeat. They are just not playing well enough right now & with Harvey out & Goulding unlikely to play, their back court depth will really tested here...can't see them winning this one tonight. Just love the spot for the Tigers.

Let's friggin win this one mate, I'm down 10 units today thanks to irresponsible betting on my part. It feels as if everything I think about betting wins, and everything I actually bet loses.

Let's win this

Unfortunately Melbourne doesn't give a garbage about this game so no matter who the blaze have missing it doesn't matter

it will matter in the 2nd half of this game though as Melbourne will grind away and find themselves back infront.
Quality can't be replicated and those outs will start to be felt by the Blaze...just wait and see

Tigers are a terrific 2nd half team as well which doesn't help the Blaze

Tigers getting outrebounded to the tune of 12-29 on the boards is pathtetic.

Wire to wire walk in the park for the short handed team backing up from a game in Perth, unbelieveable

I've had the opinion lately, The Tigers are the most overated in the outright winner market.....were around the 7-1 mark entering the weekend. Their hopes took a major hit when Mills left and the bookies didn't and havn't reacted enough. They don't have the player quality and head coach I don't rate too.....Yes Cameron Tragardh has been playing well, but lets not forget the past few seasons where he has been disappointing for the most part.

Tigers-2 over Blaze (Big Play)

Tigers+4.5 in game live at the Half

Perfect spot except the tigers didn't show up with the hunger & desperation like I thought they would in such a critical game.....rather it was the Blaze that wanted it more. The rebounding edge to the Blaze 50-26 was the nail in the coffin for the Tigers.....17 offensive boards for the Blaze gave them virtually a 2 for 1 shot opportunity for every possesion. You just can't allow that much and expect to win.

I agreed with JT about Dorsey & Ubaka....they're completely overrated & have not lived up to their billing. When Mills left, I thought they would step & play more of a leadership role for this team but that hasn't been the case. Tonight's game is another prime example why they both needed to step up to the plate & prove their worth BUT again they've shown & produced nothing like they did all season long. It's one of the reason's why the Tigers are struggling offensively...everything seems to rest on Tragardh's shoulders. That's my rant for the night.

Davenz, yes the Tigers maybe over-priced to win the Championship  but in the overall scheme of things, I don't think it matters that much. Honestly, it is just a two horse race for the title between the number 1 & 2 teams on the ladder at the moment. The rest are just making up the numbers.
