This is my second time ever posting but I feel like I have too. Oregon is the better team however KState is very well coached i mean very well. K state will tackle well and the offense will play a ball controll type game. Which is going to lead to the final score being Oregon 30 K state 24. Thats 54 points with 21 of them comming in last 3 minutes. Every schmuck in the world is on the Over in this game. TAKE THE UNDER. I got under 74.5. From a 1-10 with 10 being the highest i like this play a 9.5. All i ask is when this hits you all thank me tommorow.

Baylor blew them out of the water when the NC game was on the line.......Oregon will make the Baylor team look slow .........Kelly will be totally ready for K State and they are not the big bruisers like Stanford. Be careful on the over Kelly will sit the starters after a 30pt lead going to try Oregon in the first half too......Have them for the game at -7 .

Does anyone know if the three OL's that are out for Oregon were starters? 2 for academics and 1 for knee. This has me worried.

Boy 'O Boy !! What to do, What to do !! I have been leaning with K St and the points as well as the under, but the Duck's can be truly awesome and run away with a game. The Civil War comes to mind. As always, Love and appreciate the insight I get from most of you. However, I certainly don't see the need for the name calling, idiot, loser etc, that goes on. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and thoughts. Here are a couple of mine. As far as the Baylor/K St goes, if I remember right Baylor had beating them the previous 4 yrs before this yr (make it 5). I didn't bet the game, but I was sitting next to a guy who was shocked to his core that his K St bet wasn't coming through. " How could this be happening ?". "RG 3 is gone, this is impossible !!!". I'm sure most get the point. Someone here said something like " Just stop Klein tonight and what else they got ". I heard that a lot about Teddy B last night. Nuff said. I think the rumors surrounding Chip Kelly could be a huge factor. Atlanta, I'm all over your prop bet. Never even crossed my mind. Thank you.

BOL to all !!

K St 1st 1/2 at the absolute best I can find

Baylor was at the bottom when it comes to good teams??? They were at the time and are now one of the hottest teams in football. They finished the season on a 4-0 run and beat, who you think to be better than Baylor, Texas Tech and Ok State...

And Iowa State??? QB problems all year and they just lost to Tulsa? Not better than Baylor...

TCU??? Finished the season on a 2-5 run... Not better than Baylor...

West Virginia??? When they played KState, they were in the second game of a 5 game losing streak... Not better than Baylor...

When KState played both Texas and Ok State, neither of those teams had their starting QB and it was the first game starting their back up.

KState was the beneficiary of a fortunate schedule all year... Because Colin Klein was a Heisman finalist everyone thinks that KState is this great team. They were harshly overrated all season, including their QB, Colin Klein!

Klein was in consideration for the Heisman? Seriously?

3400 yeards, 37 TD's, and 7 INT's

Was he that much better than Freshman Mariota?

3200 yards, 34 TD's, and 6 INT's

How about Geno Smith's numbers and Importance to his team? Jordan Lynch? Dare I say Florence? Almost 5000 yards and 43 TD's? Tajh Boyd?

All I'm saying is that Klein and KState are overrated. Plenty of other teams and players have comparable numbers while being just as important to their teams. Just because a team was ranked high this year doesn't always mean that their as good as everyone thinks they are... Overrated.

Valid points but one thing that your missed. Baylor's defense gives up around 500 yards per game. Terrible. They captured 3 interceptions against Kansas St. so the defense didn't lose that game for them. Baylor would be smashed by any decent team any day of this past season. 37.2 points per game put up against Baylor by opponents. 113th in FBS. That is why Kansas St. did not have a chance of being a one loss team playing Notre Dame verses an Alabama team who lost to a much better Texas A&M team than the Baylor Bears.

So let me get this straight - If Team X  from Conference Y beats Team Z who  beat Team A and then Team looked much faster and has more speed to Team W who beat Team X, even though W is from a weak conference.... blah blah blah.   These comments are speculations based on poorly formed opinions that come from watching games in which various teams were in various good and bad handicapping situations.  There is no way to juggle that many variables.  Have a look at the numbers first. Get a point of reference first and make a subjective analysis off of the number, not the other way around.  Damn, everyone has an opinion and most are wrong most of the time.  Drives me crazy to even try to read some of these ridiculous posts

I've got a big play on the Longest TD u69.5, normally the longest td prop bet is in the 49-54 range. As long as there is no kickoff return TD this should be safe.

I like your picks Djuengoe.

Medium play on the under 74.5 and small play K-state ML.

Question - I wonder how everyone would bet on games if they never had seen either team play ( any game, not just this one ). And all anyone ever looked at was the box scores. I think people develop bias ( for and against certain teams ) based on inadequate sample sizes from not seeing the teams play but a few games.  I just think all of have to be careful when we make selections based on what we " see " in any given game.  It must be the reason people are so biased toward favorites because  have " seen " some favorite roll over a lesser opponent at some point during the season. Just wondering if anyone agrees with me or not.

Oregon - 42                                              Kansas St - 34

Ducks -7.5                                          over 74.5

I like taking the Cats in non-conference games, but the Ducks,,,,they're a different animal. I'm not betting against a team that can give up 51 points and still cover the  -7.5 point spread

Oregon - Over

UGENE - University of Oregon senior offensive lineman Nick Cody and junior defensive lineman Axel McQuaw will not accompany the Ducks to the Fiesta Bowl after failing to meet the minimum NCAA academic requirements necessary to participate in the post season, according to head coach Chip Kelly.

Cody, a fourth-year letterman from Brush Prairie, Wash., accumulated 18 starting assignments at right guard and tackle over the past four years, including the first six games of the 2012 season.

McQuaw, a non-scholarship player from Waldport, had been with the Ducks the last three seasons. He did not play in any games this year after making three appearances in a reserve role in 2011.

Oregon reconvenes in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Wednesday, Dec. 26, to resume preparations for the 42nd annual Tostitos Fiesta Bowl on Thursday, Jan. 3.

u right, they are a different animal!...Kst is far better than USC!!...if the ducks give up 51 to Kst they will get mutted!!!...the ducks played Stanford in Eugene and lost!..Kst played Baylor in Baylor and lost!...some teams just have ur number!...USC only scored 7 points in their bowl game to a 6-7 team that tells me USC was really garbage!!...and they have been all season!...Kst defense is way better than USC not better than Stanford but close to it!...they shut down some good teams this year that run the spread!...everybody keeps talkin about the ducks speed on offense but are not talking about Kst offense which is pretty good!!..they have a nice run game similar to Stanfords that likes to run between the tackles where the ducks are weak at!!...I got 8 points wit Kst!!...wow!!...thank u Vegas!!...Kst is one if the best teams in the nation hands down!!

Do not use USC's last two games w a freshman QB making his first two starts as a reference to how good/bad that team was when Oregon beat them w/ Barkley...

Ducks - 7 & over

so you are saying there will be 33 points in the first 57 minutes of this game.....wow...that is about as crazy as it gets.  So you think this plays like Oregon Stanford.  Dude they might score 33 points in the first quarter in this game.  And as far as every schmuck on the over....opened at 79 down to 74.5...must be a garbage ton on the under to move a line 4.5 points.  Wake up.

1st :Anyone using  " their coach has had a month to get them ready" as leverage, please throw that out the window, both coaches have had "a month to get ready" infact every team in a bowl game minus the 4 teams that played on the 15th of December have had "a month to get ready" completely irrelavent stat/fact!

2nd : Majority of money is and has been on the Ducks and spread has DROPPED from 8.5 to 7.5!!!!!!

3rd: Dogs have been killing it, infact winning out right 10 games, so far a 1/3 of the bowl games have been upsets!!!!!

4th : And most important.........Chip  Kelly IS looking forward, he's going to the NFL  he wants this game over, just like we all wanted 2012 to end!!!!

And any HOMER  that thinks Oregon SHOULD BE IN THE CHAMP BOWL WITH ND. you're higher than a baby on a see-saw with Precious!!!!!!!

What up DJ?

You've prolly heard about CHARLOTTE on NCAAF  community picks, but if not he was 5-5 Sat' 4-4 Mon then dropped off Tue, then he had LOU + 14.5 yest', he usually posts his picks 20 min' or so before the games, so check him out in the NCAAF  comm' forum, he's gotta be close to 700,000 hits by now for his Bowls thread!
