#5 Posted: 12/17/2012 4:49:52 PM All Northwestern has done this year is go 11-1 ATS. Giving smart guys like the Wildcats a few weeks to study for a game should be a boost, too.

#7 Posted: 12/31/2012 7:03:15 PM Too early to make a decision on this game. My criteria are mixed and I do not yet see enough to bet either side although the numbers are leaning to Miss St right now. Will post tomorrow if things become clearer.

#10 Posted: 12/31/2012 10:00:17 PM If they didn't count wins against Troy, etc., Miss State would not be in a bowl game. Northwestern will win by 14 or more.

#12 Posted: 1/1/2013 3:17:56 AM Mississippi state beat FOUR SEC teams this year. All FOUR of those coaches were fired at the end of the season. They didn't beat anybody and they are not that good! |

#16 Posted: 1/1/2013 9:27:36 AM This is a classic handicappers special. 64% on NW. NW 11-1 ATS. NW ranked 20th and MST not ranked. Yada, yada, yada. And yet, Miss St opens as a 2 point favorite.
Read the lines, not your heart.
Miss St +1

#20 Posted: 1/1/2013 10:33:18 AM I was going to pass this game originally but there have been some new developments
1. Consensus has been my 2nd best indicator for the bowl season. Today, the public is on NW by a 65% margin which would indicate a play on Miss St. 2. No play from the SS ML Diff ( too bad, this one is 9-1 in bowl season thus far) 3. My scoring predictor make NW 30 -29 which is too close to call for either side since NW opened at -1 and is now +1. 4. The money is steaming in on Miss St ( down to -1 ) while the public is betting NW. This is reverse line movement and usually indicates smart money on Miss St. This hits about 60% of the time. (Play Miss St ) 5. CE Diff - smart handicappers like Miss St by 17% margin and is also opposite the public. ( Play Miss St )
3 criteria for Miss St, none for NW = play on Miss St ( I am going to play this one for 2 units )
Warning - my 8 - 0 run in CFB is unsustainable in the long run and I would not be surprised to see a regression begin today. Just an FYI for anyone betting my picks

Covers forum used to be a place for men and women to express their opinions and give insight to help out other gamblers who were struggling or newbe's. Now it's just a place for criticism and mockery. Good luck on your NW bet. I wish you well. |

We have some similar thoughts on past games. I tend not to post too much anymore because people pay for my picks on my website and I can't give out too much free stuff. |
