Caution on All Remaining Bowl Games!

Must use great caution on all remaining "Bowl" games.  Oklahoma State throwing footballs directly into the hands (three times) of enemy players only ten yards away...TCU fumbling footballs on two yard lines...yesterday's game of a team "fumbling" footballs twice on the ONE YARD line...and all of these teams going under the Vegas spread!

And many, many "flags" even noticed by the TV commentators as "false flags".

Can't be "sour grapes" as I've been on the winning side of a few of these "disasters".  But such actions, in bowl game after bowl game, no "accidents".  Many have noticed the same, no doubt.  Must use great caution on all remaining bowl games.

Correction above...Oregon State, not Oklahoma State.

So I usually don't post but are you saying you think there is a conspiracy and point margins are being manipulated? I'd like to know why ESPN has all the game coverage. That stinks more of a conspiracy to me, but that's just me.

About game NC state has lost coach so maybe the -7 for vandy is the pick here, not sure probably will stay away from this one.

Like Vandy in this home bowl game. How have the teams with coaches leaving the program fared so far?

This is a very difficult game to handicap. Most likely, everyone will be pointing to Vandy based on the perceived difference between the ACC and the SEC.  While this is true in the general sense, it does not necessarily make for a good handicapping tool in my opinion  SEC will win and cover close to 50 - 52 % if time vs SEC so I don't think this is a valid tool to use.

Public consensus is on Vandy at Sports Insights by a 59% margin which makes NCS a play.  My scoring predictor makes the game Vandy 31 NCS 27 which also mean a small play on NCS.  ML SS indicator is leaning to NCS and make swing to a full play by kickoff but not there yet.  Covers Expert differential is on Vandy by a substantial margin but this indicator is only hitting 50% for the previous bowl games.  Line movement may be indicating play on NCS based on later buy back after early moves on Vandy.  Bottom line is a lean to NCS for a small play only unless the steam or ML SS indicator more strongly tomorrow.  Will post about 1 hour before game time for an update.

combato how accurate is this "steam" theory since you've been monitoring it?

In Vandy's last 10 they've lost to Florida and Georgia. That's impressive.NCS went down to Clemson (no shame there), NC (rivalry thing). But also to not-so-great Virginia and Miami.7 is a lot to lay, but I think they'll do it.They've been a giant killer in the past, and I think it's time for them to shine on their own.IMHO

Are you kidding me, nobody else sees this.  I've only seen this 3 other times in my life and it's worked everytime.  Read the last 10 like a baccarat board and follow the pattern.  both teams = the same Vandy  U O U O U O U O U O  Wolfpack= U U O U U O U U O U.

If you don't recognize the sequence in the last 10 is the same and both point to this game being heavy under.  This only happens once every 3-4 years, and works every time.  5 star lock

Was wondering your insight on LSU/Clemson game (didnt see your post in the LSU/Clemson thread).

Iam planning on going large with (LSU) a better defense. I know Clemson offense is explosive but defense wins championships. I still think LSU are top 5 teams in the country.

Your thoughts?

Thanks,

I am pulling off the NCS side and passing the game.  There is just not enough today to allow for an NCS bet and the Vandy site looks too pricey at -7 to -7.5.  The greatest advantage any bettor has the option to not play any game and this is one of those situations.  Today's results are way too mixed to suggest a play on either side.  I have only had a few favorite plays this bowl season and I have to admit that my "eyes" tend to favor Vandy but I have learned to trust the numbers over my eyes.  The numbers don't lie but eyes can mislead.  Not unlike dealing with members of the opposite gender in many ways.

Will post LSU Clemson game later today

Vanderbilt - 31                                     North Carolina St - 27

Wolfpack +7                                      over 52

When in doubt take the points.

Hate to lay this many points after a month+ layoff but Vandy's body of work is just more impressive to me.  Coach Franklin  is on a mission to make Vandy relevant and has his players buying in, I think they show up and make a statement.  The NCST passing game is the only threat and Vandy shut down a better passing team in TN.  I see a motivated team against a schizo team playing before a local crowd (no, they won't be packed in or loud, it is Vandy afterall but they will have the edge as NCST will not travel well to this cold weather destination.)

Vandy  -7       Medium play
