People always bet the under when they see bad weather, hence the line change... However, snow usually has an adverse effect as footing is tough to grab. Yes it will effect both sides of the ball but mainly it effects anticipation, meaning that the offense player know where he is going but the defensive player doesn't... Obviously this is true for every game, but it is much tougher to regain your footing in the snow after you hips are turned than it is to do on regular grass.

Also, speed advantages are basically taken away as the games players, not pace, is slowed down. Pace is whether or not they'll run a no huddle, Speed is how fast its done.
