#7 Posted: 12/29/2011 3:25:09 PM Keep climbing, keep climbing....(talking to the line) yeah, the Ducks are fast but they are also small and weak on D against a pretty powerful, well balanced, Wisconsin Offense. Wisky has the better qb and better stable of backs not to mention a HUGE O line to run behind and pass block. Neither team is that far removed from playing for a Nat'l Championship-should be a great, close game. |

#10 Posted: 1/1/2012 10:05:17 PM I look to what Ore did against another powerful physical team; Stanford. They showed they were physical enough to blow them out.
I like Ore here. First time I've ever been on Ore in a bowl game too.

#15 Posted: 1/2/2012 11:17:05 AM sorry to disagree doc but they gave up 31 to UCLA, 21 to Or St, 28 to Wash St, 27 to AZ St and had Cal and Colorado on their schedule...to me that's unimpressive and a pretty weak schedule (save USC and Stanford). I'm taking the points in what I believe will be a close game. |

Kerussein,
As fast as Oregon plays and as much as their
defense is on the field, a DII school would be able to put
points on the board against them. The only problem with that thought process is will Wisconsin, who I thought was the
best team in the country up until week four, will be able to go score for score
with that high octane attack. Oregon is the New Orleans Saints of college football
my man.
With that said, put me down Oregon minus the chalk AND as Dr. Dogs and W8 would
say LARGE please. Thanks!

#22 Posted: 1/2/2012 4:12:51 PM Leaning towards oregon because their weakness is pass defense not rush defense. Strength of wisconsins team is definitely running the ball, though they aren't incapable of passing, i just don't think they can keep up with oregons fast break style. Wisconsin had a rough go vs. michigan state two times, and i think oregon is a much better team than mich state. |
