If the setups in the cars are all similar, I'll take Stewart and Johnson.  Some darkhorses would be Newman and Bowyer.

Something tells me this is the exact weird track/setup where something odd happens and Brad ends up at the front.

However, I like the magic that Denny and his team seem to have.  Wouldn't surprise me if Darian Grubb has a killer setup for the 11 car and gets a win.

Previous repave races were at Michigan and Pocono. Mark Martin was pretty solid at both tracks, with Jimmie having the best car hands down. Too lazy to look up the specifics, but I think he either started in the back or was sent to the back for speeding penalties in all four of these races. I'll take the 55, and 48 with a little bit on the 15 because he seems to be the new king of fuel mileage.

Last time I remember non-short track cars being sideways and out of control was Atlanta where Kyle and Tony were doing well. I think Goodyear brought cinder blocks for tire, it was a cold day and I remember Kyle's behind end coming around like a late model all day.

With this being one groove, need to qualify up front.

Today almost feels like a plate race, with the fact that everyone seems to have the same pace, except it will be 100% more boring with no passing. Whoever gets out  front after the last stop will be hard to beat.
