Was surprised to see Saez give up the lead but Ward's Move the Chains, which he owns, was the best.
It's been an interesting GP meet. Young jocks like Gaffalione, Zayas, Vasquez, Hernandez are getting plenty of mounts from quality trainers. Johnny V isn't riding 5 or 6 a day very often & only has 142 mounts so far. Javier has twice as many. I know he was hurt but.....
I'm wondering if Tom Albertrani's racing relationship with GoDolphin will last since he's 1-48 so far this year.
Saw Frank Calabrese in the winners about 2 weeks ago bitching that he couldn't get his stock entered in many races. All of a sudden he has 4 or 5 entered every day. The squeaky wheel.....
GP track owner Frank Stronach opened a sports bar in the Gulfstream Village & has wagering monitors installed allowing people to make their plays. He's not on GP property so I thought it was surprising to see but I like it.
There's been some fantastic eye candy in the walking ring during the weekends. Seats are free (sun & shade), raw bars, tellers walking around taking wagers, plenty of bathrooms, Heineken on ice & wagons selling dogs, hot pretzels & all kinds of food.
