OP, you started this post being dishonest.
I agree. I don't think wishing cancer and death on the team or player that cost you a bet is really the right thing to do, but, honestly, who is to say what is truly right or wrong?
However, to sit here and ridicule those that chose to express their dislike of losing a way you don't agree with is no better. NO one starts out professional. And professional, I mean, your reaction to losing as well as your ability to wager and manage your money properly.
Yes, a professional knows, losing is apart of the business, but, not every professional reacts to losing the same way, and NO one, pro or not, likes to lose. Period.
You are going to sit here and tell us you never ever reacted in a poor manor to a losing bet in the beginning or some part of your gambling career is more than likely 100% dishonest. Point is? EVERYONE starts some where.
Is it not possible that most have not learned to react in a more "favorable" manor yet? Maybe you learned to react in a more favorable manor faster than most people on this site. Good for you. But to sit here and ridicule them for still learning how to deal with losing, is no different than ridiculing a person in a school with a learning disability! EVERYONE learns and adapts at a different pace. That is a fact of life on earth, in the human society. And learning how to deal with losing and the random things that happen in gambling, is no different.
garbage happens that not everyone is ready, or may never be ready to accept. Players don't care about the line, spread, under/over total, for the most part.....they make their millions any way. That can make the result look so fixed to your average gambler, that their first reaction to a losing bet, especially one that losing by an inch, NOT the most favorable! I'm a professional sports bettor, I have a syndicate now and I do this for a living and am very successful, but....I kid you not,; in the very beginning? I used to curse, rage, smash, ...everything, and I blamed EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY the players on the team for each and every single loss.
Math and TIME.....ONLY time....taught me how to deal with it properly and to accept the randomness of gambling. This forum is full of new gamblers, fairly new gamblers, and old time gamblers. I guarantee you 85% of the people here have not even scratched the surface yet of improving their reaction to losing and may not ever, or not care to.' It is THEIR life, and their life has no direct impact on your life......
So OP....in closing I say.....why do you care? Live and let live.
