Yes she can but who really knows if Venus is truly healthy. Hope kvitova lays an egg. She's done very little recently, but the odds on this matchup doesn't seem that great 

I'd take Venus just for a "feel good" story,,,you know the tournament directors desperately need Americans to be in the draw for dramatic American storylines come the weekend now that ABC has started to carry more live tennis events on the weekends

i can't call it b/c both ladies are so unpredictable.

but this is what i recently found out about Kvitova...

Kvitova has asthma but is only bothers her in U.S. (or North America) and you saw that when she lost to McHale. Her record is not good in U.S.

I don't how true this is but this is what I've heard.
