#1 Posted: 3/13/2012 11:18:47 PM I have constantly said how Woz never was a real #1 and probably not a top 10 player but she has beaten Ana the last 2 matches, both on the hard court so why is she only a -190 favorite?
Any info appreciated. Symptoms of a virus? injury? |

#3 Posted: 3/13/2012 11:45:21 PM Went with Ana. Watched some of Woz's last match replay and she may have started to get sick. Line 30 minutes ago was -190 +165 and now still -190 but +155.
280/434 I'll take a shot. |

#5 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:12:19 AM I think the spread accounts for the fact that yesterday's come from behind battle might leave her depleted, energy wise. Ivanovic is also no slouch and its hard to beat a player three times in a row. Remember, its all about averages. The odds makers are saying, yea, she probably wins, but three times-in-a-row after last nights marathon and the odds come down a little.
Seems right to me. Who knows?

#6 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:16:16 AM Eventually someone is going to come along and slap Woz around. She plays nothing but defensive tennis and it almost cost her last night, she was lucky she was facing someone so lowly ranked. Ana is no pushover and you know she was watching Woz almost get beat last night. |

#9 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:27:52 AM Ana had to have her blood pressure taken yesterday during the 3rd set. I think she has the flu bug also. |

#10 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:31:30 AM I'm not playing based off this 'Flu" theory. As that theory was brought up for Federer as well. This play is strictly based off Woz playing defensive n boring tennis. |

#11 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:34:38 AM I would lean to Ana also. Did not like what I saw from Woz last night. |

#13 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:36:20 AM Ana has a big forehand, which gives her a slight advantage if Woz is playing that lazy top spin lob...assuming she's landind it short like she was last night. |

#18 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:44:54 AM Ana certainly has the better forehand. Woz has the advantage in movement. |

#21 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:46:39 AM This is going to come down to if Ana can keep the ball long enough in play to hit winners. |

#24 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:48:21 AM What is up with Woz and hitting these balloon loopers? Something you would see down at a local tennis court. |

#25 Posted: 3/14/2012 12:49:02 AM There's gonna be breaks all night, neither has an over powering serve. Ana is gonna have to go for big shots to win easy points. |
