#1 Posted: 4/18/2012 3:13:12 PM Off to Texas this week for the Valero Texas Open. It's played at the wonderful Norman designed Oaks Course. Hard track as far as driving accuracy and GIR's are concerned. Add in the wind that seems to always be there and it's a tough test. Players will need to be accurate off the tee and into the greens. And AS ALWAYS, putting is important!
Good Luck to all! |

#5 Posted: 4/18/2012 4:15:54 PM Any thoughts on Rollins -115 over Levin AJ?
Looking total driving, GIR and GIR 200+ makes me really like Rollins as a BIG BET.

Levin had a T9 here back in 2010, other than that they both have sorry records at the Valero. Nod goes to Rollins purely on stats alone.

#7 Posted: 4/18/2012 9:46:46 PM Rollins has not played a competitive round in the 60's since Phoenix, while Levin has 8. Levin has the huge edge in scrambling, which is also very much a key stat here. Given the way Levin finished Bay Hill last year, I'm willing to look past his shitty showing there this year to bad mojo. I also think Levin turns it up a notch in these shitty fields when he knows he has a better chance to win. |

#11 Posted: 4/19/2012 12:25:31 PM need a big turnaround for Holmes or my money go bye bye. I was worried about betting him, but he always seems to do well at this tourney.
