i was motivated to create this thread in light of a couple of other outstanding threads with regards to ontario canada. One has to do with someone looking for an erotic massage in toronto and another has to do with a guy's avatar showing that he's from ontario looking for advice on 2 possible sexy french girls as roommates.
My personal opinion is that people from canada seem to be a little more open to conversing/meeting with others of different backgrounds. It also seems to me that it is a lot easier to find mates in canada as opposed to the united states where there are a little more creeps to worry about. I mean take a look at some of the responses. For me personally if the 2 french girls are looking to rent a room and they're looking in the united states and i'm the guy that's renting out the room, i'm not going to focus on 3 somes with them down the road because first of all it's possible they might not even be regular women, know what i mean?
You just have to know united states culture in my opinion, and keep in mind that i am an american. There's too many people trying to fool others here, and there just doesn't seem like there's enough mates to go around for everyone else's sexual appetite. That's why we have some people thinking the stories are untrue, the fact that these women with the sexual sounding voices over the phone could actually be guys, the fact that you should be smarter to make sure they have jobs etc.
Correct me if you feel that i am wrong about anything that i'm saying here and i especially would like to here from canadians on this topic but canada just doesn't seem as segregated. The strip clubs seem a lot better, with lots of women from all different backgrounds represented. Georges St Pierre who is from montreal has mentioned it a few times saying that he enjoys women from all the different races that the city of montreal has to offer where as if someone that looks like georges st pierre from the culture of united states, chances are he would only go for his own kind, you know what i mean?
I mean look at a lot of the donald sterling threads, there were a lot of really strong opinions on donald sterling's behalf among the people in them of american culture. I don't think the canadian culture can understand what's really going on and a lot of people of american culture don't understand anything about canadian culture.
But if i was in canada looking for roommates being how easier it seems to meet other potential mates among friends or at strip clubs, i don't think i would need to focus on getting lucky through craigslist ads for roommates, i would rather just focus on ugly roommates or even the roommates that turn out to be guys who are g*ay because i got the proof that the rent will be paid knowing i am in the hole with my bookie, etc.
Are lesbians, g*ays, bisexual, transgendered, and minorities more accepted in canada you think? #CulturalPreferences

I noticed there are a lot of USA people that are anxious to make the claim that they're "American".
Canadians are American too. So are Mexicans. So are Brazillians.
We are all from the Americas.
yeah, i know what you mean. to answer your question, i was born in the united states of america and the only language i speak is english. if anyone else wants to ask me a question, answer me DIRECTLY because that's what i like.

I grew up in New England so making trips into Canada was fairly regular in my earlier years. I know it's a generalization but I always found Canadians more approachable and just more open overall than here in the US.

Probably accepted as much as in some American cities such as San Francisco. Canadians are less paranoia than Americans because of economy and no 9/11. USA has a history of distrust.

it's unfortunate that certain people in united states can only be accepted based on city instead of overall. i gotta believe there are still going to be cases here and there in canada that aren't going to be accepting but i wanted to discuss the big picture.
I'm still grateful to have an american passport that allows me to visit a lot of different places and get to know other cultures.

I live in a border city in Canada across from Michigan. it is pretty well Americanized here, but I have noticed as a whole Canadians are more accepting to a variety of cultures. As well as gays and lesbians. It is far more notable in large cities, especially Toronto, where it is commonplace. They have their own village with happy bars, clubs, restaurants etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_and_Wellesley Toronto also has the happy pride parade which is pretty big around there.

canadian rednecks don't carry around soul rifles workin the buy them at store but there still canadian rednecks
you seem to really come across as someone who doesn't like the fact that the US allows people to bear arms. are you thinking twice about coming over to las vegas, nevada for twenty seven hundred dollars?

Cant get anythong past you crower! Armed guards at the apartment complex i stay at so, I'm good with that.
Its not that I don't like it. I don't need a gun in Canada because no one else has one. in the states where everyone has one I feel like now I need one.

I guarantee you the bad people do. Maybe there are just less bad people in Canada....certainly possible.
There are plenty of people who think carrying a gun makes them a bad a$$. Those are the ones that are trouble.
I know MANY people who carry and I have never ONCE seen their gun outside of the range. That's the way it should be. They don't pull it out to show people they are cool. I have a guy we office with who carries a little Ruger 9 mm in his pocket. I honestly hadn't thought about it for over a year until I just read this post.
Carrying a concealed weapon is a HUGE responsibility and I abhor those who take it lightly.

and speaking of culture, i came across an article in the huffington post from 2012, it said that minneapolis-st paul-bloomington has an average of 73.8 gyms per million people in the area with a total of 242 gyms altogether. I would have never thought a place known for cold weather would have the highest amount of gyms in any particular city in the US.
I'm not sure which chain there has the most amount of gyms but to have that membership that allows you to go to a lot of different ones that the company has to offer within the area would sound pretty cool to me.

I'm still amazed people are confused on who is considered American.
yes an example is a person born in the usa but whose parents were born in mexico. While growing up, the only language spoken in the household was spanish yet going to school it was all english spoken among all the teachers. What do you think these people are going to want to identify with? I would say for the most part they want to be known as a mexican person because they speak spanish, they look mexican, they like to have mexican girlfriends, the food cooked when they go home is mexican, but little do they know that since they were born in the united states, they are american.
As the maturing process happens, they begin to realize that yes they can be considered mexican-americans. Would they ever just call themselves an american? probably not but that is what they are, they are an american unless they go back to mexico or something and renounce their us citizenship, this hardly ever happens though.

you could also use the terminology american of mexican descendants.
if americans had the opportunity to study culture more, instead of having to go to certain cities and states to help identify with their own culture, i don't think there would be any confusion as far as what an american person entails. Having said that, there are still a lot of places outside the US that identify a black person as being african when in fact it's not the case at all. I think this might fly under the radar with that particular country if they were more open to people with different ethnic backgrounds.
What would you say are some countries who are open to different cultures? i would say brazil, canada, philippines to name a few.

Lived + worked in both...........Canadians far more open minded but Americans far more patriotic. Religion a big deal in the US , Canada not at all.
Canadians no matter what political party they vote far pretty much all agree on the big political things..........Healthcare and gun control settled in Canada 50 years ago........environmental and social issues pretty much the same thing.............Canadians more open to change, far less stubborn or set in their ways. Tons of miced couples of all races, kind of like london england in that way.

One of my best friends is English, and he told me if you want to see real England, avoid London. More than half the people there are not English. He calls it New Delhi North.
I do feel somewhat vile responding to a thread which the OP implies in the first post that he's simply looking for an easier way to find sex.
