Never had any addictions while I was using drugs, have been able to quit immediately on anything that I have ever been on. So, in a way, I think I can see where denville is coming from. But not sure if oxy, once a week, is considered recreational or is a problem. I think there are people out there who can quit a drug on their own, I had no issues with it. But then again, I have never tried oxy. Wouldn't mind at some point though. Good luck with your life bro, sounds like you have a lot to lose if you're lying to yourself.

I know a girl who was taking this, after her first stint of rehab. That was after stealing from a life-long family friend to support her habit. After her second stint in rehab, and suicide attempt, she's back on the OC's.
 Wonder drug that suboxone is

#118 Posted: 9/18/2012 6:35:01 PM Oxys are very tricky..they got a hold of me in 2004 for about 2 months.It went from occasionally,to once every few days to once a day to shooting it to me getting the hell out of Mobile in 2004.I have it done it since,but when i went from doing 160-240mg a day to zip..I suffered badly for about a month.Ive saw a guy lose his entire business and custody of his son for being on OCs.If u are going to do it I would take a pill not snort or inject it bc its Russian Roulette everytime u snort or inject it.Best advice is just stay away from it..Man,Ive gone thru it all except pure heroin..Most of the time I was a recreational user that let it get out of hand.Oc abuse is a long lonely road so just stop man...its so damn expensive..If u are gonna get fucked up smoke a blunt..I dont mess with any of it anymore and life is much better. |

Some people have very addictive personalities and some don't. Again, if you're going to continue moderate use and you choose to take the risk, you must set boundaries. For example, if you find yourself wanting to do it again on Sunday after you've done it Saturday you need to immediately recognize this as a sign that you need to stop. Oxycontin is freakish addictive. That said, I agree w/ most everyone in this thread. The smartest and safest thing to do is to not do it at all. Good luck sir. |
