Wisconsin is very tough team mentally and physically, and despite the physical game they had last Saturday that left many of the players exhausted and sore, I do not see there intensity letting up against a rival like Iowa. I know others on here have disagreed with me, but I prefer the young QB for the Badgers over the more experienced Iowa QB Beathard.
Another major contributing factor to me playing the Badgers is running back Clemons easy getting healthier and we saw how good is last week against the Buckeyes.
I am also strongly considering the Tar Heels from North Carolina, and will try to come back to your thread when I make a decision on this game, but I am reallyyyyy liking North Carolina at this moment.
See ya at the pay window!
Another game that really interests me and has not been talked about on the forum is Louisiana Tech at Florida International in a Conference USA matchup. I am making a strong lean to taking Louisiana Tech in this game. The line is -16.5 at Heritage at this moment.

My other pick with Wisconsin turned out to be Minnesota.
Rutgers at Minnesota -17
Rutgers has scored a
grand total of 14 points over the last 4 games. Yes they did play Ohio
State and Michigan getting beat 58-0 and 78-0, but another factor that
strongly leads me to play Minnesota is the fact that Rutgers is giving
up 263 rushing yards a game to its opponents, and now comes the Gophers
who are going to run the ball possibly 90 percent of the time with 2
good running backs while playing at home where they tend to play very
well. Last week against a very bad Illinois team Rutgers gave up 228
yards at 5.3 yard a carry in a 24-7 loss.
Minnesota starting QB
Leidner will be able to play but will not start. The guy who filled in
for him last week against Maryland did a respectable job, basically just
handing the ball to the backs in there win 31-10 win at Maryland. Here
is a link to the QB situation in Minnesota.
This will also be
the homecoming game for the Minnesota Gophers. I would expect the same result
from the Gophers as last weeks game at Maryland.

anyone else see a covers bloodbath by taking whisky?? lots to consider here..... ok yes iowa is terrible as a home fav since 2003 35-39 .. i get that, but they are a home dog 8-3-1 ats. this is as far back as team rankings goes and im too lazy to do the manual digging back to 1999... i think the numbers are statistically relevant without going back further. ask yourself this, had you not seen wisky look supremely competent for almost 2 quarters last week against a good ohio state squad, would you still like this game??? in a prime time matchup to boot.. i hope you stayed awake and watched how inept whisky and that rookie QB looked in the second half when proper adjustments were made. he did however connect on a couple of armpunts that miraculously found recievers hands this is a heated rivalry and has been for over 100 years. noone gives a rip what wisky did last week and if you were to ask any reputable capper if they would back a team that lost the week before as a double digit dog in overtime at home in primetime after they held a double digit halftime lead and after having to get up for 3 very big games at the halfway point in the season with a rivalry game on deck and with a rookie qb who has shown some cases of the yips when going into a hostile environment... well im sure you know the answer.
and since you asked.. 90% of the $ is pouring in on the lock of the century (of the week) that is wisky no thank u but best of luck whatever way you play... just my 2 pennies

Only game I really like is Texas AzzToMouth vs. Alabama. Over and ATM with the points (+18!) are really tempting, even though I think Bama is one of the most complete and formidable squads I've seen in a while.
58.5 total is getting pretty high but I think they'll both score enough to make it go over easily.
Only other thing I really like this weekend is a 6.5 point teaser VTech pk / BYU +whatever / Ole Piss +whatever / Bama/ATM total OVER (or ATM points)

Texas Tech +14. A night game in Lubbock with the #6 ranked scoring offense against the 88th ranked scoring defense. Don't be fooled by last week's game, WVU's defense is legit (17th in the nation) and made Tech's offense look bad but Oklahoma's defense is putrid. OU is clearly the better team and they'll win but the Red Raiders should be able to put up enough points to cover.

I for one stayed up and watched. I saw a poised QB, down 20-16 at the beginning of the forth quarter take his team 81 yards on 11 plays with three completed passes and no incompletes. TOUCHDOWN.
Also saw a blatant holding in OT that wasn't called, but that;s football.

I took Wisc -3 Monday morning.
Smart decision and see you at the pay window!

BC are downright bad. They have a fake 3-3 record with three wins against literally some of the worst "competition" you can find. While it's hard to trust Syracuse on the road (lost 28-9 at Wake) and they may be in line for a letdown after a huge upset over VT last week, I kept comparing this matchup to SU's 31-24 win at UConn. There's no question in my mind that UConn is better than BC. Some concern about bad weather impacting SU's up-tempo offense, but I think even if they lose it's by a field goal or so. Give me the Orange and the points.
A&M at Alabama over 58.5
Bama are going to put up 35+ on their own. I think A&M have more than enough offense to take care of the rest.
Honorable mention to Ohio State -19.5 (they are due to roll over PSU).
