The more I look at this game the more I'm liking KSU. I'll be very surprised if Stanford has a smooth transition from Hogan to these very green QB's. I also think they are a little overrated on defense. They gave up 3+ touchdowns in 8 of their 12 regular season games last year, and return just half of their starters this year. I've also been hearing some good things about KSU QB Ertz. McCaffery will get his yards in this game, but something tells me Ertz is going to surprise some people and break a few.
Will one of those long Ertz runs be prior to or post his first completed college pass?

Love all the input. Looks, like a very sharp line with a lot of people with arguments for each side. I might just find another game to pound and play the Cardinal small.
Thoughts on tenn? I think they are due for a nice year.

Tend to agree with those backing K-state. A main hesitation I have is the emphasis Shaw and the coaching staff will put on this game after opening last season with a shocking SU loss as 10 pt favs @ Northwestern. Can't see such a well-coached and typically well-disciplined team like Stanford doing the same thing and sleep walking through this game again. That said, its much easier said than done replacing Hogan and the Defensive Captain, so it may not matter what the coaches want to do or prepare..
