Fast paced game, I don't see Cal stopping Northwestern at all and Cal will score for some points by themselves. I see the score similar to the one last year with Nw scoring some more points.
Iowa state-3.5
NDSU lost their head coach, QB including 24 seniors. Iowa state plays at home with tons of returning starters on offense. Iowa State wins this by 10+

Laroja, cannot disagree with your Iowa St play, will be a fascinating game for me. Cyclones have 10 or 11 offensive starters back, and added former Kansas coach Mark Mangino as new OC; on the other hand, ISU has been hit with injuries and suspensions on D line. For my beloved, Bison, as you noted have a new HC, Chris Klieman, who was the DC last two years. The biggest loss for NDSU is QB Brock Jensen, four-year starter, all-time winningest FCS QB and was in Dolphins camp for several weeks. Have heard very good things about new NDSU QB, he is 6'6'' and apparently very athletic, but he has almost no experience. Bison defense will be solid with seven returning starters. Finally, Bison offense has several solid skill position starters back, but only one starter back in the O line. My prediction is Bison by three, but I am a hopeless homer here.
