#1 Posted: 7/27/2011 8:48:04 PM I know that I am going to get bashed for this post. Does anyone know what other books besides 5 dimes offers lines for the televised games. Last year I was able to make a nice profit playing these. If you do your research into the teams, there is money to be made. With these games many times the spreads on totals will be off by a lot. Thanks

See that's the thing. Its not legal in the Vegas and that's why you wont find lines in Vegas. You will only find them in offshore sites. There is money to be made though.

#6 Posted: 7/27/2011 10:57:20 PM i definitely think a knowledgeable capper could make some bank on the televised h.s. games many are total blowouts, that are only on t.v. because star player X committed to Florida State, USC, Alabama etc...
HS TV games often have nothing to do with the quality teams although there are sometimes marquee matchups in the mythical H.S. rankings
Often these national games have one or both teams making long cross-country trips
However, lots of new problems with the offshore books from what I am reading and hearing
I will keep an eye out for high school lines this season brother |

I saw you posted this in another thread, and I'm curious why you say this. Yes the Nazi's seized some domain names (intellectual property, not hard assets), but that has zero effect on the ability of these books to continue their operations off-shore. They also have the ability to make transfering money back and forth difficult, but they've been doing that for a while now. I'm really curious to know if you know something I don't.

Check out VanZacks thread in general discussion. He's been talking about this for awhile now. |

#11 Posted: 7/28/2011 11:31:13 AM Thanks for the link. I didn't read the entire thread, but what I did read doesn't address my question.
My question is what authority do American authorities have over books that are operating legally offshore? I'm not aware of any. If I'm wrong, I'd love for somebody to straighten me out.

#15 Posted: 8/20/2011 5:46:28 PM Okay folks first game on the board today so lets get this High School Football Season off with a W.
Bishop Gorman (NV) vs Chaparral (AZ) 10:30 pm est
The first big game of the year. Bishop Gorman comes into this game ranked #7 while Chaparral comes into the yea at #30.
This is the first time that Chaparral is ever played a high profiled top level out of state team in the history of the program so they may be shocked by the bright lights of national TV. While Bishop Gorman is use to this lime light playing multiple games on national TV last year including there loss to Concord De La Salle last year.
Bishop Gorman will have a big advantage in the trenches with 3 D1 prospects in their starting line they will look to pound the ball with Shaquille Powell. But don't underestimate their QB play in Junior Soloman.
On the other side of the ball, the real test will be if Bishop Gorman can hold down the explosive offense of Chaparral. Chaparral has QB and Texas commit Connor Brewer and RB Davonte Neal.
I believe that Bishop Gorman will be able to limit the amount of big plays that Chaparral will be able to produce and win by a TD 31-24.
Bishop Gorman -1

#16 Posted: 8/20/2011 10:37:06 PM I would also be hard on Bishop Gorman
First time out of state and on national TV for Chaparral....that is a big deal
Bishop Gorman considers itself a national program after a big traveling 2010 they want into the MNC title discussion and a loss in the opener would be devastating
Gorman is also the better team in the trenches with some beasts returning on both lines, and in early season HS football the big burly guys are typically ahead of the skill guys.....going with the POWER team
I am hard on Bishop Gorman -1 220/200
Also looking for the halftime line as I like the experience of Gorman to prevail in a tight one down the stretch |

#18 Posted: 8/20/2011 10:50:53 PM NEXT WEEK's PREMIER GAMES
#1 Pratville (Alabama) vs. #10 St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla)
#5 Armwood (Fla.) vs. #7 Bishop Gorman (NV)
#13 Cocaa (Fla.) vs. #15 Cincinnati Colerain
#19 Farmington Hills Harrison (MI) vs. #67 Detroit Cass Tech I live in MI and have watched Harrison's first 2 scrimmages and this game will be an absolute massacre ..... if the books throw up a line I am all over the HAWKS
#21 Katy (Texas) vs. #59 North Shore
#8 South Panola (MS) vs. #70 Hoover Alabama Hoover might be living on name only and South Panola will already have a game under its belt
I wonder how many of these games will be lined |

#20 Posted: 8/20/2011 11:49:20 PM That is Thursday, August 25
Avon Lake moves up to D-1 and has a senior laden team, coach calls them "cautiously optimistic" because the seniors are inexperienced ....8-3 last year
Avon was 10-1 last year losing in the first round of the D-II playoffs RB/DB Ross Douglass has Minnesota and Illinois offers....lots of guys back on defense ....but a major loss in MLB Brian Cox Jr (moved to FLA)
Leaning toward the team with more experience and the better number -2.5 .....neutral site Avon Middle School
I will consult my Ohio boys this week for more insight

South Panola will absolutely smash mouth Hoover. The only way Hoover stays in the game is if they have a great passing game but I understand they are breaking in a new QB and this will be his first game to ever start. Panola will control both lines of scrimmage. |

Thank you Mr. Bulldog I have a feeling this # will be wayyy off
The game is set for ESPN tv on Sat at 3:30 p.m. and the game will be on the board at 5Dimes and SportsBet (trying to find other sources)
Luckily my local uses ClicknGamble which also has the #s!!!!! |

Well that worked out well Got to watch the entire thing live too
After a fast start Bishop Gorman was SOD and had to punt which swung the momentum briefly to Chaparal which took a 14-7 lead. Gorman thought they tied it before halftime on a 60-yard bomb but the play was called back personal foul on the offense
The second half was ALL Gorman and ALL RB Shaq Powell as he accounted for 6 TD on the night and a monster 28 carries for 303 yards!!!! Added 3 receptions for 34 yards and a TD..... Powell has offers from Arizona State, Fresno State, Illinois, San Diego State, UNLV, Vanderbilt with interest from Notre Dame, Auburn, USC and Nebraska (no offers from those guys yet)
Final score Gorman 42 Chapparal 22
From the paper: Gorman says its ultimate goal is to win a national championship this year, and at least after one night, that seems like a possibility.
I will probably be on Gorman next weekend against #5 Armwood (Fla.) .... hosting them at home ..... Gorman has one of the best OL that I have seen especially on the left side behind Nick Strehlow and Tanner Britton. Ron Scorggins is also a physically imposing beast and these guys dominated at the point of attack
Very dissapointed my book did not post halftime lines, had this circled from the beginning
Felt this blowout coming the whole time even when Gorman was not dominating on the scoreboard they were controlling the play
Would have made me 360 heavy on one side but would have loved to have the option
HS FOOTBALL
