Short line for Volquez. Think Ryu dominates. You guys can have Shane Green at -180. I'll gamble the other way. Norris on a bounce back, and has good numbers vs the Halos. See what happens. Insight and comments always welcome. BOL

I am on both the Dodgers and Orioles for similar reasons. Hard to bet against the Halos at home, but Shoemaker is underwhelming and Norris has had success against them... hoping those Orioles bring the bats tonight.

I agree w you on Dodgers and Orioles. However the Yanks are going all lefties vs Mikolas and just swept a much better reds team. Texas only won 1 game vs Jays and that was Darvish w the pill. See a tight LAD @ PIT game w the edge favoring the Dodgers. My only concern for the Orioles is they have not seen Shoemaker.

No Hanley & Puig tonight... I'm on the other side rather huge Jose. I don't post much now bc the kids around here, thought I could talk you into a buy-out .. Take PITT at -110 for same amount and call it a day. Or go Large on a scrappy PITT team that needs to win, good luck Sir

Glad to hear you're on both of those. I actually like Shoemaker. He had one bad start and got knocked around a couple times in relief. He has good stuff and think he will be a serviceable arm for that rotation. I just like the spot for Norris better.

How is this a short line for Volquez? What do you think the line should be?
It's not about what I think the line should be. Just looking at his last 6 home starts, this is the smallest number. Why should he open short against the Dodgers who will probably be without 2 of their best players? Just my 2 cents. Good luck

Who is Shane Green, and why is he -180? Like I said, you guys can have him at that price. Think the O's can hit Shoemaker, and that pen. Both games have the potential to be close, and I'll gladly take a split. Good luck with your wagers.

Good to see ya posting, and always respect your opinion. But I made my play and I'm sticking to it. Not worried too much if I lose, just another bet. Feel free to post your thoughts in here, tim. Your one of the good guys.

Shane Green blanked the O's offense last time out. Guys pitching to stay in the rotation and can keep his spot if he continues to give quality starts. Fastball sits in the 90-94 range. Has a good slider and the changeup is coming around.
Miles Mikolas is doubtful to pitch past the fourth or fifth inning. Why? He is another arm the Rangers are converting from the pen to a starter. Like any exercise routine or program, progress takes time. A beginner doesnt just jump in to a 400 lb squat or 300 lb bench. A relievers max effort for an inning or two is different than the interval pace of a starter or long reliever. Where maybe first or seccond time through the lineup you dont see all of the starters pitches. Its a different pace, different attacking mentality.
Yankees are very much in this Race with a chance to win the division. Texas is in experiment / show and trade mode.

Fair enough. Just think you guys are paying for that 9 K performance. Take a look at his career numbers and tell me they are in line with that outing against Baltimore. Just my opinion, but I don't think he does it again tonight, even against this Texas lineup. That's why it's called gambling and not winning. Good info, and BOL with your card.

Greens struggles in the past have been walk related. Which comes down to 1 of 2 issues. Confidence or Mechanics or a combination of both. Confidence in thrwing strikes has improved and so have his mechanics. I see Green outlasting Mikolas and then the Yanks eat away at the Texas pen who is tired from Rogers Centre series. Yanks got 3 quality starts vs the reds and pen should be fresh. Add a winning streak, add in Texas are not winning much. This is why I choose to invest in the Yanks today.
