Checking out for the night got to leave early in the morning for a meeting in Toronto.  Little rust tonight and tomorrow is another day.  Now the Tigers can take on the roll they love as the underdog because tomorrow everyone will have them losing in four games.  Love it.

The ball off the bag caused Pablo to go yack 3 times in his 1st 3 ab's. Caused the Giants to battle every single pitch and every single ab like it's there last. Caused the Tigers to put up all donuts against Zito.

There is certain things you can't cap in a game. In basketball the refs taking over. In football turnovers, bounce of a ball, and gusty play calling. In baseball errors, bounce of a ball,a pitcher getting squeezed ect....That is why they play the game though. Tough to grasp that there is 2 teams out there when your chugging the sugar water. Laying insane wood on the road just might humble you after awhile though

No doubt. All the Tiger lovers made it seem like it was a one game series with god pitching for the motor city. Giants know a little about closing a series. There only 5-0 when facing elimination

You haven't watched Verlander pitch all year he would probably rather pitch on three days rest than 6 or was it 7 days rest.  His ball had absolutely no movement on it tonight.  In all your life have you ever seen a pitcher give the pitching coach the eye when he came to the mound to talk to him.  It was a joke he kind of smurked as much as to say like the annnoucers said WTF are you doing out here.   One other thing that is a band box that the Giants play in two of the three to center not sure about the one to left would have been caught by Jackson in Comerica.  Did you notice he was right back to the wall before the balls even left the park.  And like i said before Verlander is not God but he could be one of the disciples in our Tiger fan faithfuls eyes.  Hopefully they didn't hand the trophy out last night and there will be a game tonight.

All you Tiger faithful get back in here.  I know its 0-2 but we are going back to the friendly confines of Tiger Stadium the boys need the support.  Yogi said it aint over till its over.   Tigers like i said before were down either 3-0 or was it 3-1 to the mighty Bob Gibson led St. Louis Cardinals in 1967 and came back to win the series 4-3 they can do it again i have all the faith in the boys next game is huge get one win and then lets go.  Tough game last night FIster pitched his heart out and silenced the San Fran bats just enough to give the TIgers something to work with.  Comerica park will be rocking and give the boys a lift.  FRIENDLY confines can make all the difference in the world.  GO TIGERS

They play at Comerica Park...not Tiger Stadium...shows how much you go to Tiger's games.

Down 3 games to 1. The Tigers won three straight. And that was 1968 not 1967. 67 was between the Cardinals and Red Sox.

I think what he was trying to say is its 2012 who gives a garbage whether it was 67 or 68 and i know where they play but i think its kind of funny that i typed Tiger Stadium probably because i still in my mind prefer Tiger Stadium over Comerica.  Comerica is a beautiful ball park though.

There is a lot more to do at Comerica for the younger generation.

Extremely impressive walking up the the front of Comerica with the huge crossed bats and the huge Tiger out front.  Definetly a beautiful ball park and as it ages will take on the same mystic that old Tiger Stadium had.   And there is so much going on around that park.    And GO TIGERS.

Gotta tell you a Tiger story from this year.  Was at the Indians - Tiger game on Aug. 5.   Game was tied 5-5 going into the bottom of the ninth.  Had my future son-in-law with me and it was his first Tiger game and he now has become a huge Tiger fan.  Anyways bottom of the ninth and Jackson leads off with a Triple.  So the Indians bring the right fielder in to load up the infield they intenionally walked Infante.  First and third no one out.  Cabrera pops up to the infield one out.  Fielder hits into a taylor made double play.  Top of the tenth Hafner and Carrera homer a single stolen base and a double and the Indians are up by three.  I said to my future son-in-law lets get out of here and beat the traffic remember its his first Tigers game.  We get on to I-75 North heading to I-94 and back to Port Huron to cross at Sarnia.  Well it begins in the bottom of the Tenth we are listening to the game on the radio.  One out, Two out and i said to him well at least we didn't miss anthing and no sooner did i have the words out of my mouth and a double another double a single and by now it comes around to Cabrerra and he says if he hits a home run i am going to be pissed well its well hit to deep left center field its way back its out of here well they end up winning 10-8.  I really felt bad for him his first Tiger game and i took him out early to beat the traffic probably the biggest come back in any single game for the Tigers in a long while.
May not have got all the play by play correct but as good as i could remember it   Unbelieveable.

It doesn't matter that much lol. The play by play was intentional walk to both Cabrera and Fielder. Delmon hit into the double play. Batters 6 and 7 both got out. Then 8,9,1,2 and Cabrera homered. The game is never over until it was over. I was working that day...and had a feeling my grandpa shut the game off on the radio...well I couldn't call until Cabrera came up to bat...and has soon as I called him and told him what was going on is when Cabrera homered. You got the final score right and everything in 10th...games are always fun. There is a lot to do around the stadium as well. Nice story.

Should have said batters 8,9,1 and 2 got on base to get Cabrera up to bat. And is over***

Whenever I type more than I should...it always leads to mistakes. Sorry about that.

One other thing it was like 95 degrees that day we were in the second row in the box seats upper deck just off third.  We had to keep going down into the outer corridors to cool off every third inning or so.  Always a nice breeze running around the outer corridors and there is always something cool to .  Glad the boys are back at Comerica tomorrow they do play better there.  Sounds like the weather may  be a little shitty for sure not 95.

Ok lets look at the series.  Negatives we are down 0-2.   San Fran hotter than hell and catching some breaks.   Positives we are home with the DH rule more defense with Berry in left and Dirks in right.  Friendly confines of Comerica Park and the home crowd.  Win this one big game tonight with Sanchez and then Scherzer and Verlander to follow.  This is a huge game tonight not like i have said due or die but a must win.   Boys will be happy to be back at home in front of a loud friendly crowd and i  think the Tiger players are probably real tired of all the San Fran talk in the papers that Detroit is done.  Lets get that first win tonight its mandatory.  LETS GO TIGERS.

Are you serious? AT&T Park is one of THE hardest parks to hit a HR in, thats why HR hitters don't like playing here. Grasping at straws much?

I didn't say it was harder to hit a home run  in either park what i said was if the two home runs that were hit to center field in the first game if it was Comerica Austin Jackson would have had both because he would have had another 25 or so feet to run and catch the ball and he would have had both of them with  his speed.  He ran out of room and that is why i called it a band box.  Check out Comerica Park tonight you will see how much deeper it is and watch Jackson run down almost anything that is hit out there.  Besides all that, i am letting the San Fran fans run there mouth the last couple of days and let the chips fall where they might.

I am here in LV and I am for sure laying my cash on Detroit for game three.  Probably a little on OKL and Hawaii too.  Down anyway on slots and Pai Gow and CFB!  Place is packed because of the drags and rodeo and bowling tournament.  Crowds everywhere even to get a bite to eat.  I hope Tigers bust out tonite, anyway that is my feeling and if I am wrong so be it.  It was fun while it lasted.  CBB and NBA will soon be here, then the bowls and playoffs so life is good no matter which way you look at.  GLTA!!!!  Geau Tigers! LOL!
