#104 Posted: 9/16/2012 11:41:48 AM I bet kansas city last night and then made another kansas city bet not realising I made the 1st one....I saw they were down 2-0 and when I signed on to my sb last night much to my surprise I was way up so had to look why.I stopped following the game when they were down 2-0 in the 8th.Was nice to see on top of those I showed you in the post above.Good luck today Herb.Going to stay off this game due to having the series thing going and feel ive jinxed them the past 2 days by playing them. |

#105 Posted: 9/16/2012 12:09:51 PM Paul, here is some food for thought:
**The O's new starter, old timer Randy Wolf is one of MLB's most useful starters because as a Dog he's a whopping 40-29 +24.18 units in his career. Again, that's a 58% clip for a dog.
Why the Brewers traded him away and still want to pay his salary I do not know. Sure he's 7-17 this season and looks old and washed up. My opinion though is that Brewer's management doesn't know how to use him. In Buck though I trust.
The A's now got a whopping increase in playoffs odds to 96.8% while the O's need to work today sitting at a 52.9% chance.
Simply put, the effect of this particular game has much more impact on the O's than the A's. Precisely, if the O's lose they'll drop to 47% odds of playoffs and if they win they'll be sitting real nice at 63.7% chances. The worst the A's could fall to here is about 2% lower. Worse bets have been made |

*Sorry, very key typo here. I meant to add that it is that record against plus .500 opponents. That's exactly why he's so useful. |

#114 Posted: 9/17/2012 12:59:16 PM Congrats on the hits and plays bro. You are doing a hard thing and doing it well. I always rely on heavy favorites to win some money back as my dogs don't always hit for me. You are in the Green, while just betting dogs. |

Sorry yall; I'm passing today. I forgot to post up...but trust me if I had one I'd be here.
Anyways, my closest one is on Seattle (home dog) tonight, but I just don't know if I can bet against my O's. A little emotion involved there so maybe some of you will take a stab.
Food for thought though: This season the O's are 45-36 55.6% +14.94 units off of a win. Usually a team is worth a second look when they're off a win (to fade), but Baltimore seems to be the freak team of 2012 that I don't want to bet against while they're rolling. |

Yes. This could be close. A few beers deep, I've got the game on and ready for kickoff, but this is EXACTLY the kind of game I'd pass on betting. Too marquee.
Go Broncos though; for some reason I always hate how cock the Falcons get at home--and love when they get blown out at home. Peyton has a few things to prove I think more than anyone: he doesn't want to be old and washed up and go out all 'tarded like Brett recently did. |

Thanks Denson. I've been doing this a long time, and will admit that while this is the prime time to bet dogs in the MLB season, we're sure as hell lucky hitting dogs at such a rate.
Take this to the bank though for the rest of your gambling career: The money is in what gives you that gut twister.
Example: What NFL play stunk the most last week? I'd say +13.5 against the New England Patriots at home. It ended in an upset. These are the sort of plays I like. No one thought Arizona had a chance here and they won SU! |

#124 Posted: 9/19/2012 3:55:36 PM KC looks great today too if you're looking for another dog. The Yanks lucked out early today. Now they have the momentum for the night game in the dbl header so I'd lay off Toronto. |
